This Squash Champion has dedicated his life to India's only Squash village

  • Ritwik Bhattacharya, a former five-time National Squash Champion, has founded the START (Squash Temple and Real Training) Academy in Kalote-Mokashi, a tribal village in Maharashtra. Since its inception, he has coached over 100 local children, nurturing 42 national-level players in squash. Several of these talented youths rank within the top 20 in junior and senior categories, with four qualifying for the prestigious PSA world tour. Ritwik's passion and dedication have transformed this once-remote tribal village into a renowned hub for squash in Maharashtra, showcasing his remarkable impact on the sport and the community.
