What do you think of the way the "optimal" way to play is to assign all town members to workers during the day and then quickly changing them to fighters at night?
It might feel a lot more fluid to just let them automatically convert somehow

@@yuvie9588 Maybe "Protect you're statue" means you are the statue, and you are actually the statue but possessing the other people in order to build your defenses to protect yourself. as said by someone smarter then me lower in the comnents. or it could be like a voodoo doll thingyabob.

Matt, you and I design defenses very similarly. Loads of turrets, and only a handful of soldiers. That's how ya do it. No micromanaging where they go, just set it and forget it.

The game seems interesting but the focus on super micro management of having to do everything around the base with the short day/night cycle seems a bit harsh. Though I do wonder if the Turrets could be upgraded, and what their range was? Cause they really didn 't seem to keep up with the increasing number of mobs.
Naw, RCE as-usual ignored building critical infrastructure. It seems to be that the statue provides renewable resources and other major upgrades. But we never really got to see that because he kept forgetting to use any of it. It is my biggest gripe with him, that he becomes laser focused on what is immediately available, that he forgets to use new tools that he unlocks. Or he gets the new tools, and forgets old ones in the process.
@@GeneGear Well to be honest a lot of his video's are "one offs" in where he plays some new game badly and then never touches it again. Some times I almost wonder if he's sponsored by them as he almost always gives amazing praise for even the worst of games.
His "silly play style" can be funny at times, and since I just found his content I still enjoy it. But I can see long term it might get annoying to always see him playing games in the worst way.

That’s where I heard it first but it’s not like the craziest phrase to imagine so it’s very possible that it’s been used before him. But I think most people that use it heard it first from him.

unironically as i watch this video, england just beat Netherlands to be in the finals😂😂😂
only thing i can really say is that the defenses needing rebuilt every day and barely having any time to make progress is a turn off for me. if the time invested in defense is longer than the time gained from the defense serving its job, its not a defense at all. it seems like it would be better to save the materials to rebuild the base every day than to rebuild walls
