Your videos are the most delightful way to learn about these countries, their flora and fauna. Books just don't do them justice. So glad you are out there for those of us who can't make it there!
Snow! You're moving like lightening! Glad the knee seems to be doing great. Glad you guys found you're way back to some birds. Looking forward to more adventures! Be well!
This was a wonderful video!! I played it twice!! Just had to watch the birds and wildlife again. 😊 Aww the beauty of Ecuador 😊 Thank You for taking us along, I am grateful to you both for all the editing and extra hard work you do to make it all possible for us to experience the true Ecuador 😊 Sincerely, Shay's Ways
Oh gosh - the birds!!! They are magnificent! And your close-up video of the birds and animals in their natural environment is such high quality! What a treat - thank you!
Hi guys👋🏽 new to your site, Love your travel vlogs super interesting and although I haven’t watched in order I love them, I enjoy your interaction and respect for one another along with lovely kitties. Snow your skin is glowing and I just noted the great weight loss and your honesty in that journey, high fives to you and your support team. Cheers Jacqui
It was SO lush & green plus that man made cave ….. u two always find the best places to stay! So many varieties of vocal & pretty birds! Squirrels also getting leftovers dropped by toucans? 😎😍
Absolutely love the lush greenery & all the lovely birds. Thank you so much for sharing ❤ so glad Snow is recovering so well after her knee surgery. Sending prayers & best wishes!
Was fascinated with the Lemon-rumpled Tanager. Such a pretty little bird. Loved the different Tuscans! Their colors are amazing! Ready for your next destination.
Definitely got your groove back. Love all the birds and the lush treed landscape. The change in the type of food available is interesting too. Happy trails and I’ll see you again in a few 🌼
You two find some of the best camp grounds Ecuador looks so beautiful and peaceful your journeys are so interesting and joyful be safe and keep up the great videos
Wow! I never saw Vanna climb before! Interesting about the money. Not fine with the cats? Run...Run away! Love the birds, especially the toucans, squirrels and even the creepy rodents🤣 Such a nice and peaceful camp.
Love your videos. The local scenery and people is great, but the birds, flora and fauna is amazing to watch. We love "traveling" with you. You're our favorite vloggers!!! Now, from one Floridian to another....find some cream of tarter tablets and take those if you are in another area with chiggers. The cream of tarter gets deposited on your skin and chiggers don't like it so they don 't bother you. Our church camp near Brooksville had chiggers back in the 70's so we learned quick. Keep the videos coming and safe travels. Ted and Susan
Wow, what a great area, Mindo. The birds and critters are so fun to watch. Congrats to Vanna on her climb! She must have felt like a wildcat for a minute there. The place that Valentin owned was also sweet, great flowers and views. Looks like you are in a pretty cool part of the world.
I’ve been following y’all for a long time now and so enjoyed it all. But this place, Mindo🎉 OMG! The 🐦. Like the cats I could watch forever. I really appreciate y’all taking all of us on this fantastic trip. Curt scares me a little sometimes LOL. 🙏🏻 as you continue your journey ❤
Absolutely LOVING this episode with the birds and jungle. It's so cool how you guys are in these exotic locations yet acting like it's just another day. We really feel like we're somehow there with you guys:) Looking forward to your next episode. Stay safe. Sending Best Wishes and Blessings, James and Kim ❤️
As rich as America/Americans may seem & appear to people in other countries, the view after the tunnel, these AMAZING, BEAUTIFUL places you guys have found the past few times & the hospitality from the owners/natives to the land make ME feel that THEY are the one's who are TRULY RICH & WEALTHY! Have you guys checked into how much a rural, small farm costs there? Just curious as each of your videos is drawing me more & more to want to retire there. Just beautiful & breathtaking. Thank you guys SO MUCH for taking us along. Priceless.
We loved seeing the birds! As soon as we saw the sign with birds at the third place, we knew this would be the spot for you guys! Great find! Loved the video! Thanks for sharing the beauty! Garry and Marilyn
I have been hearing many new bird songs the past few weeks here in Costa Oaxaca MX. They are difficult to see as they are hanging out in the coconut palms that surround my casita. I am told they are migrating. Love the Tucans! Back in 2018 I as at an Ayahuasca retreat about 3hrs East of Iquitos Peru. There was a pair of large Tucans the lived in the area. It was amazing to catch a glimpse of them as they stayed mainly in the canopy. It was also fascinating to see flocks of parrots flying around. South America is an amazing place of diversity and such friendly and hospitable people.
@@SnowAndCurt that is great you are doing well with your new knee I love watching you Curt on your journey be praying for you be safe and good health to the both of you
👍💖I loved watching. I like seeing the places where you stay so I know what to expect on my journey. I’m not a cat person but G’s coat pattern is so pretty. I like birds when I’m not trying trying to sleep. 😂 OMG that was a great close up picture of that beautiful humming bird. I’ve never seen one in person so it’s on my bucket list. I love the “free styling” attitude/ approach…following your intuition and seeing where the Universe sends you. 😂 Thanks for sharing your journey.🤗
Can I come over for the campfire dinner? Looks delish! Wait, I’m too late already! Guess I’ll have to make my own! What a beautiful campsite you have there!
Great close-ups of birds! (feeders make that easier) Nice White Necked Jacobin hummer….I paid big bucks for a week of birding in lodges in Tandayapa and Milpe, and didn’t get that close of a look at the Chestnut-Mandibled toucan or the Rufous Mot Mot! They told us that because the fig trees were fruiting, they were less dependent on feeders….boo… (in Feb) that 3rd “toucan” was a Collared Aricari. You guys really lucked out though, considering that you brought cats into a world birding hotspot - I am surprised anyone let you stay there….I’m sure they made you promise not to let them out…..did you drive them to a spot far away from feeders where you could walk them or were they just relegated to window watching for 2 days? Anyway,
Wonderful video, guys! I always get freaked out when you go into caves or really tight places. I am claustrophobic so I would never, ever enter into such places. I do, however, get to see them through your bravery and point of view. I love it!! I sooo love seeing how people from other cultures live their daily lives, and your videos always show the regular people (as opposed to tourists) living day-to-day. I also want to say, you two are personally destroying the old adage of the ugly American abroad. Your every day kindness, compassion and respect for the countries you are visiting is visible in every video. I hope to basically do what the Vandersons are doing some day - go from the Artic ocean in Alaska to Argentina. Right now it’s a dream, but one I am hoping to fulfill!! Stay safe, walk in peace and keep the videos coming.
found your channel a few days ago because of my interest in Ecuador, but then ended up watching videos about your knee replacement. I have hip replacement in Aug. and watching your videos helped me understand what might be ahead, although I've heard hip replacement is easier. Thanks for being on the road as I can't with this hip!
Thanks for those amazing birds, we don't see anything quite like those in Britain . Snow you have done so well with your knee,, keep going you two, and I love your cats and your videos, it's a different world where you are. Keep them coming.
The views and Curt's explanations of the different species of birds, etc. are AWESOME! I'm really glad to be 'along for the ride' on your 10 yr. journey around the world:)
Splendid video beautiful landscape and all the wildlife. Love how you support one another. Snow I'm so happy for you on your progress since surgery. Curt your also looking good didn't realize how much weight you had lost till today. Congratulations to you both.

Thanks for introducing me to Ecuador! I think its my favorite country so far, the roads seem better and all the birds! Not sure what to think about the coffee though, its like maybe they are boycotting all the other countries coffee, or is there some sort of high coffee tax? I need to Google this.
Great mix of things to see in this one. Love the birds and that dug out cave tunnel was awesome. So glad you finally found your camp site there at the end. Snow, you’re looking so small now. First thing I noticed. Congratulations. I know you can’t wait for your hair to grow out and can be fully natural. I did it years ago and know what it’s like. You’ll love it. See you guys Saturday 😎🙏🏻‼️
Love your videos! I really appreciate you sharing your travel! Snow, you look great! Looks like you are adjusting to your new knee. Safe and Happy travels! Karen
FWIW when I was spending time in Bogota, I would look for aromatica de coca, usually sold in naturalista shops. It's tea from coca leaves, but don't freak out, it doesn't get you high or anything. It's not refined. But coca leaf has been used for thousands of years in the Andes, and the aromatica (tea) helps breathing at those high altitudes.

Hey guys, so glad you are enjoying Ecuador in every single way possible, hope more people come and enjoy it too. I met you at El Pailon del Diablo near Baños, can't wait for the video on that one. Is that knee getting better? Greetings from Quito!
Hola Alvaro! We are loving your country! And... Thanks to your kind words on the trail... I made it to the end of the trail. It was a hard climb back to the van, but it was worth it! The knee was a little sore the next day, but not too bad! THANK YOU ☺️
Haha yes, dollar bills here are "rare". Sometimes people have checked the $1 bills when I've used them to pay because they don't see them often!! Every time I come back from the States I always bring dollar bills to lighten up the weight of my purse. Also, Snow, if you find yourself at the grocery store pick up a Pacari chocolate bar, they're delicious!!!
