This is as cool as it gets....but my favorite version was done in 1964 (about this time) by those lads from Liverpool...The Swinging Blue Jeans...I love the guitar riff
She did this song 7 years prior to Linda Ronstadt. Probably would have been a huge hit for her had she waited. Song was ahead of it's time. You can hear that Linda basically sang it the same way but more forcefully. Love it.
The original You're No Good was a huge hit for the great soul singer Betty Everett and it was also recorded by Dee Dee (Dionne's sister) Warwick wayback in '63.
YES, I discovered after my original post. Both of those versions were great. Especially liked the original version by Dee Dee Warwick. She was really rough around the edges with her delivery, which worked well. Both LInda and Dusty took a lot from Betty's rendition.
+hortiza Actually Dee Dee Warwick recorded this classic song FIRST! And she does a killer version. Folks Please do research first before posting but I appreciate your enthusiasm nonetheless. Yes Betty had the hit before Linda but Linda's version is DEFINITIVE because she's LINDA after all. Let's keep on PRAYING FOR LINDA RONSTADT! There is ONLY ONE G-D! Let's NEVER EVER FORGET THIS TRUTH FOREVER AND EVER AMEN!

I know. I heard that some time ago. She's Dionne Warwick's sister. It was rockin' and raw. Loved it.
