The thing I like about this game is it makes that sort of stagnant ww1 scenario fun. That's always been the issue with ww1 games, trench warfare doesn't lend itself to exciting game play. This game manages to make it fun, even if some of the outcomes like you say are unlikely or unrealistic. It manages to capture the difficulties of making progress in this type of warfare, while maintaining fun.
The Tech System is terribly random, it should be more like a chit pull System where at the end of 1918 every alliance has the tech as it was historically. Nice Review, I am praying you will somday come back to the holy grail of ww1 "La grande guerre" and make a proper playthrough Video for it. The shaky old ones are unwatchable.
Like the filming in the dark for this review of the Lamps are Going Out - appeals to my British humour.
yeah that must've been on purpose :D

I second that, la grande guerre is a magnificent game would love to see a playthrough of it!
Since it’s coming out in it’s 3rd printing perhaps it’s time for Ici c’ est la France!
