It's a trick called gate clip. You use the platform to Future Tense and a keybind to make the game think you're playing as Crash when you're actually playing as Coco and vice-versa
Why is the ending routed so that Bug Lite's gem route and relic are done after the Cortex fight? Why isn't it done so that you do Flaming Passion first, then Bug Lite, then Gone Tomorrow so you save Cortex for last? Then again, I know very little about speedrunning and routing, so take my criticism with a grain of salt.

Haven’t been watching any crash runs for a while. The out of bounds skip in under pressure was great I’ve always hated that level

@@hmzagd12333 the routing depends heavily on how many masks you have entering a certain level. Also the out of bounds in level 2 is hard

We need the speed shoes to do the one cycle at the very end of the run, which saves around 40 seconds over doing cortex last

@@darkhood2458 the original crash 3 had 105%, 5% extra for two secret levels, and NST has 3% extra for the DLC level Future Tense
