The m4 Sherman saw service throughout ww2 and the guys who operated them had balls due to them having thin armor and a main cannon that couldn't penetrate front armor of a tiger 1 tank and could only penetrate back armor and sometimes side armor and was a very easy target for German foot soldiers and tiger 1's, it would take more than 6 m4 Sherman's to take out a single tiger 1 until the Sherman firefly was put onto the field with its upgraded 76mm gun that could penetrate tiger 1 armor more better than the standard 75mm gun but still had the same vulnerability of thin armor not to mention that if the ammo storage was hit the tank would blow up killing all 5 crew members. Sherman armor was at least 76mm thick. A tiger 1's armor thickness was at least 100mm thickness and having a crew of 5 with a 88mm gun. The guys had balls of steal and alot knew if they faced a tiger 1 they had a high chance of being another kill mark on the tigers gun barrel
@@elibarker201 its literally all facts lmao and its common knowledge if u know your History, everyone knows Sherman's where weak and where easy targets and that it would take more than 6 shermins to take out a tiger 1 until the firefly was made and with its 75mm gun, Tiger 1 ace was taken out by a Sherman firefly by penetrating the right side of the tiger which a normal Sherman could not do
@@kamash581 ok first of all, it didn’t always require 6 shermans to take out a tiger, that’s dependent on multiple other factors, like is the tiger being ambushed, or are the Shermans driving towards it and face it head on. Early Shermans had 75s, the later ones had 76s which were the much better gun. Early Shermans if lucky or from the sides and rear could still kill a tiger. Late Shermans with 76s could pen tigers from the front at closer ranges. Also tigers were rare, and Shermans weren’t and they didn’t encounter them a lot. Finally you said they couldn’t do anything until the firefly was introduced. Well no, the firefly was a British and Australian version of the regular early Shermans with their own 76 gun in them. Idk where you get your info or how old you are but just look some info up on Wikipedia about the Shermans history and variants.

The unlucky few that died in them should be remembered as the small percentage that failed to.follow the manual, or just had the absolute worst day of their life. The Sherman was the second best tank of WW2, we shan't talk about the best tank for fear of commie scum building new ones.
@@Khajiidaro we had a lot of them that’s how we beat the German tanks we lost 10 to 1 when it came to tank to tank engagements the old tankers said it was not ment to be used or that it was to support troops the 88 on the tiger and king tiger using just HE rounds with the delay set would go through the frontal armor (the thickest on the tank ) and explode blowing the turret off or them as the German crews said blew their hat off setting it ablaze they would not even waste the AP rounds that were in short supply we always had the 11th Sherman that would disable the German armor the only way that 75 MM gun wich was a low velocity one at that could kill one was to hit the engine plate I owned a M5 Stuart it was only armed with. 37 MM main gun it’s strength was it was fast and could hit and run like hell but was so lightly armored it was a death trap too .
Among all the works that I have seen carried out on this channel for one of the best or the best has been this one, you can see the effort and dedication that the person behind these great restorations makes to make them work again and are better than they were before.
A Tank of War I must suppose that it was a great challenge but with the final result I am speechless and I give a star to this work that shows how it turned out after a fierce combat and now it is ready again to go to war.
I know this is 10 months late but this is a WW2 M4 Sherman produced between 1942 to 1945 49,234 were made during this time period.
If I hadn't seen it, I wouldn't believe it.
From Brazil, congratulations!
You did an absolutely beautiful job of that tank you my friend got yourself a subscriber
Same this video made my day!
Uh oh, looks like toy story is becoming a thing. PLASTIC ARMY MEN ARE ACTUALLY FIGHTING FOR THEIR LIVES, EVEN THE TANKS.
The M4 Sherman was renamed after the famous American civil war General (William T Sherman)

You must’ve had so much fun blowing things up

Lol the rollers on tooth pick do loook like a stick grenade
OMG!!! I think that’s the best restoration I’ve seen.
Congrats!!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

This makes me think of some videos of someone finding a tank submerged in a swamp. And then hauling it out with heavy vehicles. And stripping it to be restored in a museum.
There actually was a German Panzer hauled out of a lake in eastern Europe.
@@txgunguy2766 I've seen, Russian and German tanks being dredged from lakes and other bodies of water in Europe. It would be phenomenal to be there to witness it first hand.

Mind blowing how he restrore back to new. Only few people can do this. A patience of God and a skill beyond words. Wow.
I was wondering how he'd fix the broken track, nice
Your restoration was some next level shit. Fantastic job.
Старі іграшки кращі за сучасні електронні . Молодець майстер ! 👍🇺🇦
I'd love to have this M4 on my desk. Awesome restoration.
On one hand, that was incredible, on the other, it would have made a great set piece
I thought it was an actual M4 Sherman, not a little model
Me too
It is an actual Sherman, he’s just a giant. A very friendly antique repair giant.

Смотрел на одном дыхании и кайфовал!!! Супер!!!!
Awesome job as always, the only issue is the flags are wrong. Those flags have 50 stars and should only have 48.
Amazing work! I'm still trying to figure out how the army man got inside the tank. It looks like there were cups inside all of the hatches to keep them from falling through.
