Steve o'Hara Well GTA 2 has a certain look and feel to it. Game world, each and every gang has a culture to them and they are really colorful. You never get that in the newer games.

I remember once, while in a Sydney hotel during a move, I would play this game and then go to the balcony and look at the traffic far below. I just LOVE the mood of these radio stations... The tracks are sooo 90's, the DJs are great, the instrumental tunes slap... It does not take itself seriously but it isn't filled with tons of average jokes like in the later games.... It's all about the characters of the different DJs here... And that late 90's vibe.

Good quality mix... I remenber that i read on internet that all radios of GTA 2 and GTA 3 are processed with Optimod FM Radio Processors. that's why the radio is loud and the treble have big hiss. The bottom bass impact effect in 1:15 and 6:25 minutes can be listen in any Radio Station that uses Optimod and here at 12:55 you can hear the hiss created by a real FM station . But GTA uses very light audio compressing compared to real big stations.
This game was the best I met and played as a kid. I miss many of those days of their years 2002, 2003 until 2006. How many nights did I wake up and call that Playstation to play this game ... Good times!

I used to feel frustrated at times because you needed $50,000 in game money to save the game - but it was challenging too.
