Concept art means my beta version of my character or story. Most of the time, the concept art of my character is the different ways or versions the story could go. For example: I'm working on a manga I want to make called "Eye". The main character, Nakara, went through 6 different designs. Each design held a different story. If I would've chosen to stick with the first design then it would've been a whole different story. Same with the background and surroundings. If I had chosen where I wanted to at first then my whole story would've been changed as well.
I feel like concept art is like a window into which you can perceive an idea through a visual perspective. You can still have an idea of how they act, look, etc. but placing it on paper or an image file can make the process much easier instead of just outright making the character with little thought into their design.

Ayyye I’m in the same boat with you haha, I think starting off with webtoon is a great choice for many opportunities besides getting used to making actually pen and paper Manga ! I think that’s a excellent choice for beginners! Sorry that I’m not Whtymanga but I want to say my opinion! lol Good LUCK with your Webtoon !!

Keep in mind that actually starting, no matter what your skill level, will greatly enhance your abilities as an artist. I cannot stress how hard it is to make that step to actually start, but if you can stay consistent I promise it will be worth it. Like WhytManga said, just starting even though you are not 100% perfect with everything is the best. I agree because how can you improve if you have never actually attempted what you want to do?

I usually make up different versions when doing concept art. That way I have a clear view of what I want and what should work. Pinterest is perfect for reference photos and images too.

I wouldnt have been able to make nearly the progress that I did in such a short time without your videos and others that taught me how to take the image i had in my head and actually put it on paper. Thank you so much for making these videos! Also, just bought my copies of Apple Black volumes 1 and 2 after reading the first chapter xD. Im hooked lol.
You could self-publish, there a lot of videos on self-publishing on youtube. You could use CreateSpace, a service made by Amazon that allows you to publish books and comic books. I recommend just researching about self-publishing to see what might work for you
I understand self critic is important, but you're designes were aways the best part of the comic. I mean, i undestand character design is important, but donj't overthink it...
