Bruh- look at him. He seems to understand English very well. Just give him a chance to speak. And what kinda interview was this? The reporter only did an eye-to-eye contact with his translator's and not him making it felt like the translator lady is being interviewed & not miura. He even understood the question of how was his experience in LA for the first timer as he nodded. His body language is so straightforward. Bet as the rumours were going, he seems really nice & honest person.

春馬くんは、本当に誰に対しても平等に優しくて、誠実で謙虚で、思いやりに溢れていたよね。この女性のように元々意地悪な人もいるけど、春馬くんの優しさに甘えて、春馬くんに対して失礼な言動をしている人ってこの女性だけじゃなく他の映像でもよく見かけた。春馬くんはものすごく繊細だから、そのたびに傷ついていたと思う。そして、相手を決して責めたり愚痴を言ったりせずに、より努力してた。人に優しく自分に厳しく。才能も、努力も、人柄も本当に素晴らしい俳優さんだった。

このリポーターの方の最初の対応から本人も色々と思っただろうけどあまり顔に出さないように(少し感じてしまうけど)最後まで丁寧に対応していて本当に人間ができた人だ(；；)

It was really nice of him to try to answer in english at the start, i can understand it clearly. I lived in japan for a year, and most of them dont really speak english. Only the younger gen tries to learn the language.

在米だけど明らかに馬鹿にしてるでしょ。差別されたことのある人なら嫌な周波感じるはず。スタントマン使ったのかとか質問の内容も低レベル。１～２分聞いただけでもわかるわ。通訳の人の顔も段々ひきつってるし、同じようにオーバーなリアクションで大笑いしながらスルーすればよかったのに。
やはり知的レベル高い人はどんな国でも相手を尊重するって、海外で働いてる人が言ってた国関係ないって 個人の問題このリポーターあり得ない！腹立つ

Exactly, she wasn't in the wrong here. We're hearing him through what the microphone picked up but the noise around them might have disrupted her hearing. It was just an awkward moment sadly and nobodies fault. I think he felt embarrassed after it, judging by his body language.
watching miura haruma's last moments. really think his death could have been prevented easily. If there was someone close to him and said the right words.

普通に通訳いる外国俳優へのインタビュー時には、マイクを本人に必ず向ける。
ましてや本人が英語で何かを言ったときは、聞き取ろうと努力をする。万が一聞き取れなくても、自分がちゃんと聞いてなかったかかのようにもう一度言っていただけますか？と言う。
この人には一ミリもその配慮がなく、初めから終わりまで、通訳にマイクを向けている。
通訳は黒子であり、メインではない。
プロではない。
これは誰でも傷つく。
春馬くんは諦めてしまったけど、あんた耳が悪いの？僕の話には興味がないんだね。
って皮肉の一つ言ってやる俳優もいるだろうし、のちにちあのリポーターにクレームを入れる俳優もいるだろう。
これ、アメリカのスタンダードじゃないよ。

What an awful & disrespectful interviewer- I clearly heard his response. He looked so shy& uncomfortable ( his shoulders were raised up& so tight) after her rude “ what was that?” She barely made any eye contact with him only his interpreter, who was absolutely lovely but jeeze come on!
I would’ve said “nice to meet you Thanku for speaking with me “ in Japanese to be respectful to Haruma.

She should have said "pardon?" or "sorry?" instead of "what" because it sounds rude and it gave pressure to Miura. Sad because his English is clear and understandable enough, but the reporter just shot him down quickly. Anyway, they hired a good intepreter here!

i want all of you to know the truth for haruma!! they say, mafia, something bad religious group and even hospital are involved in this murder.There was a suspicious person too. The news of suspicious person information posted on the Internet has been erased.because the talent agency haruma belongs has put pressure to Mass media companies.Haruma's fans in japan say,Haruma was killed by somebody. its really unforgivable.The talent agency doesn't tell us time series even that is really strange and They told us lies about many poblems. There are a lots of reasons why the fans say so. We know haruma's death is not suicide. if he was hanging himself, his heart stops in 5-10 minutes, but when Haruma was delivered by ambulance, his heart was still moving.so, it means Haruma does not hang himself. he was killed by someone.
As police didnt work, fans sent e-mails to a bureaucratic ministry regarding haruma. it's like black market dealing. fans will ask police to reinvestigate, however i dont know they will do because its black market dealing. i really hope the police work! and the truth will be exposed!And, Haruma had donated to a pediatric ward in Laos,He was appealing to his talent agency he belongs, for clarification of funds like flow on funds..After that, they say that he was treated really bad from them.Then the his talent agency came to think of him as an obstacle.

Then another two actors (one being a mother of 2 children) in a similar manner as his with a gap of week each making it a chain of "said-suicide" (I referred this term here because I heard the police aren't going into the depth of the case & dismissing it saying it's a "suspected suicide")

アジアの俳優を生意気に思ったとかどうかはわからないけれど、春馬くんにインタビューしているのなら、質問中は春馬くんの目を見るのがフツーと思う。
通訳の人もあまりに自分と視線が合うから、途中で春馬くんを見て『こっち見てあげてほしいサイン』出されてますよね。
何より驚いたのは、レポーターの後頭部やらで春馬くんに何度も被り見えなくさせてること。
これは、プロのリポーターであるなら、 画角のイメージできるはず。ここまでくると、わざとやってんの？って思ってしまう。
そういう優しさのない、自分に興味を持ってもらえない態度で、同じ質問を繰り返したり、このインタビューは本当に哀しいです。
でも、ね。彼のすごいところは、１度英語で伝えて「What」と返されて、きっと萎縮しただろうし緊張もあったのだろうけど、その中でもまた「first time」と再チャレンジしてレポーターに伝えてるところ。
がんばり屋だな、空気変えようとしてるかな、って思いました。

I’m watching everything with Haruma in it following the heartbreaking news of his death. Why did the interviewer laugh when Haruma-san made an effort to answer in English? It was rude and unprofessional.

Josh Taylor well it was probably to quiet, there is a lot going on, you can probably not even half of the loudness around them, I don’t think she didn’t understand him, I think she just didn’t hear him, if you compare his voice when he spoke English to his voice when he spoke Japanese it was louder in Japanese and if you compare his english words to the reporter and interpreters english, they were also louder than him. That’s the reason in my opinion why she didn’t understand him, he was to shy to speak english in a louder voice.

She was probably caught off guard for two reasons. One, I can imagine how strikingly HANDSOME Miura is in person. He's so beautiful that she couldn't even look him in the eyes 👀! Secondly, not being very intelligent herself, she wasn't able to mentally process the fact that he was speaking English so clearly. As I'm sure she was told Miura would be using an interpreter. I know she's probably really embarrassed every time his name is mentioned! #gotbrains?

For me, It’s difficult to hear what he said beginning part by his accent at once.I have same experienced like that before so many times and felt embarrassed. I truly applaud his challenge sprits! Great job!! A reporter also was unexpected to his English response so she looked upset?!
P.S. Found another video he spoke fluently in English with a actress without an interpreter. They were laughing together. It was also worth noting that they seemed very happy to talk face to face.

He was over this. Fake bubbly doesn't go over well with most people; it's two faced. And dear lord, if this interviewer couldn't tell that he could pick up on how patronizing she was. Like lady, he just doesn't speak English like a native speaker, it doesn't mean he's stupid. He's human and non-verbals can be pretty universal. Just the tone of her voice, alone, was patronizing.
