Ohhh the rust jacket looks lovely on you. That colour really suits you. And I love the coatigan and I also really liked the first sparkle top (though I totally get the hanging stomach thing, I'm the same).

Love the rust coloured jacket, but I sure can understand your rationale for not keeping it. I have several closets worth of lovely clothing that I need to get rid of, as they are no longer needed. Why keep something that I will no longer wear? The coatigan looks great on you (and I’m not normally one for patterns)!
I atcually thought the leggings were very flattering and wouldve looked great with a long black top, i thought the grey cardy and sparkly blouse looked beautiful! And the pink fluffy top i think id bloody live in that i love it , ❤️xxx

You should treat yourself and keep the waterfall jacket. You could dress it up or dress it down. You could get loads of wear out of it!!!!

firstly, congratulations on your weightloss. the wrap top was a lovely shape on you, and the waterfall jacket was a gorgeous colour on you, but i have to agree that the long cardigan at the end was a winner

Love the grey cardigan you chose to keep I am sure it will get lots of wear this winter. The suede rust waterfall jacket was stunning and suited you beautifully maybe it could be a Christmas present from one of your family. I love the waterfall jacket on you that was my favourite - it is expensive but if it could serve as a coat/cardigan and not just for special it could get a lot of wear.
The loungewear set might be nice for you keeping cosy in front of the TV on a night as the weather cools - even in the South West. However, you may find a darker colour of top more flattering. I live in Scotland and it looks super cosy to me. The waterfall jacket looked nice on you (so as you liked the style maybe ask Santa husband for something similar - though cheaper (I, like you, think it's pricey for what it is). You suited it. Liked you in the coatigan. Take care and stay safe.

Two things looked great on you : the magenta sparkle and the suede waterfall. Yours and Bloomchic have better quality versions and you'd rock them all! That colour group really suits you and the belt just shows off your shape.
Loved your Coatigan, and the waterfall jacket looked gorgeous on you, and you could always pick that style up elsewhere at a more reasonable price for your needs, if you wanted, as the style really suited you.. and have to agree the sequin dress was a no no.. thanx Carla, I do l love a try on video.. 💗 xx 😚

Lollll!!! I’m laughing out loud at how hot you are and hubby is giving me strange looks!! Those of us with the extra poundage don’t usually feel as cold as the skinny ladies 🤣🥵😂
The starry top is a really great colour on you, despite that particular top being a fail.
I have a huge fat lump under one knee so I only ever wear wide leg trousers or palazzos.

The best item imho is the longline cardy. £45 is a lot but it’s v nice.

I must say carla it's not that you don't suit them.But I think simple Be clothing is badly made lately. The best of the bunch made that is cardigan & pink snuggly lounge top.Very pricey 😀😀👍👍Think I will go to primark for xl that's my price range Lol xx

Caroline did well! Agree with other comments, that sparkly top really suited you, both colour and style, very flattering and slimming, shame it was a cheapy fabric. Actually loved the top/trouser combo on you. I think the patterned leggings looked OK, I think you could wear patterned ones. Rust jacket suited you and of course the coatigan was a winner (especially as you are losing weight)! If the dress had fitted you the same as the sparkle dress fitted Caroline, I think it would've been a keeper.

The waterfall jacket can be dressed up or down ,so going to the pub with either jeans or leggings .Also the star cardigan looked good .So you should try and buy both,I think you would get a lot of wear out of them.Go on.xxx

Carla, I haven't watched in a bit and could tell right away you had lost a lot of weight. Congratulations!!! The teddy coat is cute, but I think you need a bit more color to jazz things up. The pink loungey-furry top is a tad too long, but the color is nice on you. Never judge a piece of clothing until you try it on! It could look horrid on the hanger but marvelous once you try it on! Love the color of the sparkly top but I don't think it's for you. The suede jacket looks great on you!!! It brings out the reddish color of your hair and looks wonderful with your skin tone. That cardigan is a win!!! I may just buy that one for myself. UPDATE: I can't order one for myself. They have closed down the Simply Be USA website. Noooooooo.

The rust jacket is so flattering - definitely worth keeping. It isn't that dressy, and I think you would find many occasions to wear it. When you find an item fits that well you should keep it!
Sparkly magenta top is lovely on -with the belt too. If you get a longer chiffon vest top for underneath it would be suitable for what you want 🤗

I really did like the waterfall coat and the wrap top, I think burgundy/magenta is a good colour on you.
I liked the red sparkle and the 'suede' jacket (ribbed for your pleasure) but I can see why you wouldn't keep them. I did like the star coat, but everything else looked SO poorly made, especially the Teddy coat!

Looks like this video was posted about two years ago, but it is aging well. I laughed aloud a handful of times. Neighbors in adjoining apartments will wonder what I'm up to (thin walls). I related to every observation you voiced, Carla. My physique is much like yours, but I'm old, old, old, and you're not. Wish I had your height.
It was interesting to recognize some of Caroline's reasoning in her selections for you. I'll next watch Caroline's try on of your selections for her.
A question: have you been in local theatre - onstage musicals, comedies, dramas? You have a subtly animated speaking style and your quips leave me breathless with glee. I will long remember and smile at your hate-loath relationship with the sparkle-covered star-decorated shift. You're a talented storyteller, a fine art.
Here in west central Minnesota, U.S. winter has arrived, though barely. When I woke this morning at 5 a.m., it was 14 F degrees, -10 C. We now have just enough snow to scare me into digging out my winter wear!
The best to you and yours, Carla. I find your collaboration and communication with Caroline repels my early winter blahs. And I'm especially looking forward to catching more of your solo videos. 29 October 2023

Really enjoyed this vlog made me laugh the things that you say.I couldn't be doing with them fluffy coats and lounge wear with my hot menopausal flushes I'd have steam coming out of my ears.The waterfall jacket was nice on you and the star cardigan.They are expensive aren't they,suppose you could get cheaper if you shopped around.I will go and watch Caroline's vlog now, take care 😊

I do feel that Simply Be are on the pricey side, but sometimes do have great sales. All the items looked good on you except that awful pink dress, I think mainly it was the choice of fabric and colour that made it look awful. The leggings to the lounge set looked fine on you, couldn't quite see why you hated them. Thank you for your humour and very honest opinion on the items. Hoping you have a good weekend 🙂🙂🙂

How tall are you Carla? Am 5'8" myself and have a difficult time finding long (enough) cardigans - that one looked very soft, too. I thought the pink colour was really nice on you! Agree about the purple sheath dress - it looked flammable :O
