Ang Itlog ay 95% Calcium carbonate at kapag ibinabad mo ito sa suka, ito ang kalalabasan PERO meron din itong minimal traces of calcium phosphorous. Ngayon, KAPAG ANG BALAT NG ITLOG AY NILUTO, napapataas ang phosphorous content nito kaya po ito niluluto muna bago ibabad sa suka. kaya ang tawag sa timplang ito ay CALCIUM PHOSPHATE! at hindi CALCIUM CARBONATE. That’s right! Most phosphates are insoluble in water, but they are soluble in acids, including vinegar. More importantly, heating phosphates will yield pyrophosphates. Pyrophosphates exhibit the highest solubilities among the phosphate compounds.
What this suggests, is that dunking eggshells into vinegar without prior heating will yield a pretty decent calcium acetate solution but the availability of phosphor to plants will be lower. This is in comparison to an acetate solution whose eggshells were heated prior to adding vinegar.
Bottom line
Heating up the eggshells is necessary unless your plants do not require immediate access to phosphor."

Hi, sir. Been wanting for you to feature this. In my case, I grilled the eggshells to save time. I had some shells blackened and fermented just the same. I've noticed you said not make it black when pan-roasting it. Would it have a different effect if the eggshells were blackened compared to only browned?
Hello po. Yung calphos po kasi ay pwede rin ipainom sa mga alagang hayop. kaya ko po nasabi na hanggang brown lang ang pagkakaluto kasi po pumapait po pag umabot sa black ang pagkaluto. hindi po palatable para sa mga hayop.

Thank you, Pogi. Nagawa ko din yan pero ibang method. Binibilad ko yong shells for two days, then ginagawa kong powder saka ko nilagyan ng vinegar, and so on. May bago akong natutunan dito sa video mo, yong one month fermentation. Thank you, Sir. Actually, isa lang akong container gardener sa bahay. Gumagawa din ako ng compost para sa mga vegetables ko. Saan pala ang farm nyo? Parang ang lawak ng farm nyo.

Thank you for the info, Sir Reden. Just want to clarify, when you add vinegar to eggshells you produce calcium carbonate not calcium phosphate, since about 95% of eggshell is calcium carbonate. Another question is how do you make bone meal which they say is rich in phosphorous?
yes. IF you extract plain eggshells in vinegar only, you'll get calcium carbonate. BUT if you roast the eggshells prior to soaking in vinegar, it will unlock more soluble forms of phosphorous thus enriching it with more phosphorous. that is why it is called not only calcium carbonate but due to high contents of soluble phosphorous, it is labeled as calcium phosphate.
As for your question, bone meal is simply finely shredded bones of animals. take a kilo of of clean animal bones, chop them up to smaller chunks and place them in a grinder or food processor. or any means that will turn them into powder
Thank you for your explanation on the calpbos from eggshell. BTW, with regards to the bone meal how is it used as phosphorous- rich fertilizer? How do I use it for my plants? Marami din akong natutunan isa na yung tungkol sa mga pamuksa sa mga pesti ng halaman organic pesticide all in one. Nag try talaga ako sili, sibuyas, onion, dahon ng papaya, oil, dishwashing soap at pinakuluan bay leaves. Ang bisa po talaga patay ang mga o-od.

Welcome po! yes pwede ang calphos during those stages pero mas beneficial kung nasa flowering stage na. kung hindi naman namumunga, then pwede kahit upon transplanting

@@nicanorsilos4874 Good day! I think potassium deficient po ang inyo pong tanim o halaman. You may use an equal portion of Calphos and FFJ then, mix it into water. Spray it twice o thrice a week since nasa flowering and fruiting stage na po ang iyo pong halaman.

I looked up lime-sulfur just now. it looks interesting. found out that it is a good fungicide and also has pesticidal properties. Bossing yun calamansi ko hitik sa bunga at ang dami talaga ang ganda tingnan pero maliliit pa. Pero lately lang mga couple of days ago, napansin ko nangangahulog ang mga bunga at maraming ng nahulog at mukhang mahuhulog lahat. Makanti lang ng konti yun mga bunga ay kusa ng nahuhulog. Senyales ba ito na kulang sa calcium yun calamansi? Hugas bigas lang kasi yun dinidilig ko sa kanya at once lang nilagyan ko noon ng 20-20-20 fertilizer.
