Well I'm very happy with the support I've got, and am lucky to have such awesome fans, so I'm pretty chilled about the playcounts on here and other places. I'd rather 1000 people had a meaningful connection with my music than 1,000,000 people listening, but having so emotional connection at all.

I'm glad you're liking it. I can only really make the music that feels honest to me at the time i'm making it. I'm never going to be someone to just make something with the purpose of keeping everyone happy, as that would lack creative authenticity for me. I will keep making music, but i'll never be in a position to know what that will be in advance. Hope that makes sense, and thanks for listening!

These unreleased tunes are all amazing, makes me wonder why you never released them
It normally comes down to what other tracks are on an album and what works well together. Most albums I try to put together as a cohesive body of work, even if that means leaving off some of my favourites. Other times you might just get tired of a track or not have enough time to finish it due to deadlines. With release like Fallen Light, The Cold in You and Tides, there was also a label involved, so if they don't like tracks it's quite hard to get them on the release too!

Honestly I always leave the vocals quite vague when chopping stuff up, so it's often more implied than explicitly stated. I think it says something like 'do you give me to love me', which makes very little sense....
Expectations for today: watching movies. Reality check: movie night "ruined" by newly discovered Phaeleh album.
