The Cheyenne Depot Museum in Cheyenne Wyoming. It is located in the old train depot as lots of local and railroad history. Is totally worth a visit in your in Cheyenne Wyoming and love train history. A little something from their website. The Cheyenne Depot Museum is the steward of the Historic UPRR Depot, a National Historic Landmark. Built in 1886 by the Union Pacific Railroad, it is the last remaining grand railroad station on the transcontinental route, designed by famed architect Henry Van Brunt. Visit the museum to learn about the history of Cheyenne, the Transcontinental Railroad, and see the beloved narrow gauge UC&N Model Railroad built by Harry W. Brunk.

We’ve never been to the museum as many times as we’ve been to Cheyenne. Of course, we were always there for the rodeo. What a great collection of exhibits in such a historical setting.

Great museum,
So many artefacts.
Great presentation.
Great pictorial photographs of locomotives.
Travelling was very different in those days.

When we went to Cheyenne it was off season and everything seemed closed. This was a good find. Crazy how they built the tracts was the train was moving. You always seem to find those miniature train sets. Fun stop.

the video was wild, it had to be speeded up, I saw a similar video with them building the train tracks with the train on the tracks, but it was not that fast, I used to live not too far from North Judson IN there was a sign the old radio was donated by a couple from there, our schools played against each other in sports, the drawer suitcase was very cool, this was a very interesting museum, thanks for sharing it

Only pick 10 😱 That might be too hard. Some of my favorite museums had less to do about the museum but the interesting people I ended up talking too. The small mom and pop museums and the best, but rarely get great views 🤪
