i love how much easier it is on Bambu 3d printers its SUCH a hassle on other printers

What? Have you swapped nozzles on any other printers? This is convoluted to swap a nozzle tip. 6mm wrench and a couple of seconds and most printers are done. No cables, no hex cap screws. You shouldn't have to basically swap an entire hot end to change your nozzle.

      @@ronaldhiser860 the NOZZLE is easy.
hot end is a mess and a total time waster from how hard it is on my old elegoo nep 3

@@ronaldhiser860 Ironically, on the Bamboo A1 familiy it's even easier than with a standard nozzle on most printers.

A great video. Thank you very much. Not even Bambulab has done so well. I will save it for the future. Good images and shots

All I’m gonna say, I’m new to 3D printing and got a P1S, somehow my hotend got filament harden inside and I could not cleaned so I swapped to the replacement hotend (0.04) and (without) any instructions I swapped. To the point: my printer gave me a error code when I started (0003_0002_0001_0001). Bambu Lab sent me a complete hotend assembly. Before I was going to replace everything I just happen to see your video, followed your directions and my printer works perfectly!, thank you!

Use a 1.5mm alan key heat it with a tourch and stick it into the hotend. Let it cool then pull it out. I had to use a vice mine was really in there.

You can also heat the Nozzle from the outside with the lighter, that way it is easier to pull out

2:46 No no no! The clip slides off the end. Notice how there are "tabs" on the metal, that's so they can slide up and over the heater. You remove it the opposite of how you install it at 7:30. Even if you don't re-use it, removing it like you did could damage the thermistor.

I am confused. I received a Bambu X1C a few days ago. and I ordered a few spare nozzles for it but you are not replacing the nozzle, per se, you are replacing almost the entire hot end. Perhaps "nozzle" means something else in Bambu speak.

If you break your thermister when trying to remove its finished and ruined. I believe it needs to be a continuous loop and mine broke. I suppose you could sodder it back together.

Tip: Don't pull out the connectors by the wires, as tempting as that is, you may pull out one or more of the wires from the connector. Don't ask me how I know.

The X1E nozzle is not compatible with the X1C, as it is made of different materials that are designed to go to a hotter temperature. The X1E can only have the complete hot end assembly replaced, not just the nozzle.

You can just buy a new hotend that has all those parts attached already, the fan, thermistor and heater cartridge. Then just unscrew the old and swap in the new, replace screws and plug in the wires. Much easier and faster, and they don't cost much more.
