He's the knight Westeros deserves, but not the one it needs right now. So we'll hunt him. Because he can take it. Because he's not a knight. He's a silent guardian, a watchful protector. A hound
Isn't it weird that one of the characters you hated end up being one of your favourites. I love Game Of Thrones because it shows the good and bad in people. There is good and bad in all of us to certain degrees, and this show portrays it well!!!
Kaarel Kahu we need pure hated characters every once in awhile. Especially in a show like GoT with tons of morally ambiguous characters. Think about it: how annyoing would it be if literally every character was morally redeemable in some way. It's nice to have a scapegoat character to shove all our hate on.
Best character in GoT in my opinion - and about as close to what a knight was *actually* like in the medieval era as we're ever likely to see on screen - brutal, battered, but with a weird honour code.
Sandor Clegane always reminded me of Professor Snape from Harry Potter. I knew and understood from very early on they were both VERY misunderstood characters. It was for them that the phrase "don't judge a book by its cover" was invented.
Rory’s acting in this show was incredible. His face when he says “why haven’t they punished me” is the face of a man who is repeating a mantra that he’s told himself over and over that he doesn’t quite believe.
People are saying that if Sandor and Arya reunite in season 7. That she will try to kill him. Has anyone watched the show? She took him off her list. If they do reunite I hope she will be happy that he's alive
Well I'm glad that in Season 8, the both of them still have a sort of mutual respect for one another. Arya brought out the good in the Hound. If not for her, he'd still be stealing from farmers and murdering bandits most likely.
A broken man whose compassion was simply bottled up due to family betrayal, hard necessity and work opportunity. But it was bound to brim over some time or other...wonderful character. Perhaps the best psychological profile in GOT.
The story of the mount is more relatable than the other main characters in my opinion because he didn't start off with a healthy mindset but a rather crude and immoral one. He was betrayed at a young age by someone that was suppose to be his keeper (the mount) which to a degree justifies his resentment towards everyone but along the way he has been transformed towards a principled way of being by encountering people who still see a glimmer of good in him. "You can still help a lot more than you've harm Clegane. It's not to late for you." My favorite character!
This was the video I was looking for! After watching Jamie the Kingslayer, my next favourite chacter is Sandor Clegane, both having the parallel of being characters with non-traditional and complex moral story arcs that require you to look deeper than the basic concept that 'good or bad deeds means good or bad man'. Love it. Thanks for the upload!
Hound is my favourite character and def shares more than a few things in common with me. Had pleasure of meeting the actor who plays him in a local pub, awesome video 👍
He´s the best character I have ever seen. He seems so cold, yet he´s full of emotions.Better father to Arya or Sansa, than Ned ever was (yeah bite me). And this video, damn, something fell im my eyes. :)
I disagree with anyone that thought he ended poorly. Out of anyone in the disappointing 8th season, I thought the Hound’s character had a magnificent close. Looking after Arya to the end and putting a stop to his antithesis of a brother once and for all really spelled the Hound’s redemption quite nicely in my opinion. He is and always will be my favorite GOT character.
The hound should never be thought of as a broken man. Cleganes character, is no doubt very complicated, emotionally scarred by the cruelty of his older brother burning his face, he would be a flawed and sometimes contradictory personality, .....but, despite being a skilled ruthless killing machine, possibly for twenty years plus, he seems to have a slight sense of remorse or compassion, and unlike many mercenaries/ soldiers of fortune, from any country or era......not a rapist!!, and clearly detested rapists!!!!!!,
In his own way, Sandor was one of the most honorable characters on GoT. Unlike so many of the other characters, he never pretended to be anything other than what and who he was -- and he despised most other people for their pretense of honor and respectability. Beneath all his cynicism, however, Sandor still maintains some ethics and ideals -- if he didn't, he'd be just another version of Gregor.
Everyone wants the hound to kill his brother. I always wanted it to be Arya. In my mind she saves him at the last moment. Then he never had to feel alone. The hound and the wolf pup.
One of the best thing Arya did in her life was not to kill Sandor while he was begging for it !!!! We can't lose Hound ,he's precious to me that dozen of other main characters.
Me:*sees Miracle of Sound UA-cam notification* Me:"Oh, I know this song" My brain:"and don't you wanna listen to it again?" Me:"...you make an amazing point"
Very good video. Sandor is my favourite character. I hope I'll kill the Mountain. Yes, he's a broken man. TeamSandor for the Cleganebowl !!!
this was emotional to watch but i have the feeling he will not make it u see in the trailer that the leader of the brotherhood without banners is with jon fighting the wights and who is the hound with the brotherhood
Ned Stark was a decent man in an indecent place. That does not make him a fool. As far as being Arya's real Dad, he hired Syrio Forell to teach her to fight, he encouraged her to be who she really was and he loved her dearly.

The comment needs far more likes ;)
Dont kill the hound. He completes me.....
i feel the same about uncle benji
Benjin, not Benji lol.
Isn't it weird that one of the characters you hated end up being one of your favourites. I love Game Of Thrones because it shows the good and bad in people. There is good and bad in all of us to certain degrees, and this show portrays it well!!!
Birdie Man same happens with ser jaime
Birdie Man Except Joffrey.

Michael Henry and that’s were Ramsay and Joffrey came along lol
I never hated the hound. He was always my most favorite

Rest in peace to my favourite character on Thrones. You will be missed :'(
"You think you're on your own?" That saying really breaks my heart. How sad.. He has always been on his own.
He always cared for the pups

Molly and Abby Wilson he'll be proud as Fuck that she became an effective little killer. "That's where the heart is"
Umer Hanif thats what he said
Hound saved Sansa and Arya. She would be stupid to try to kill him again
Well I'm glad that in Season 8, the both of them still have a sort of mutual respect for one another. Arya brought out the good in the Hound. If not for her, he'd still be stealing from farmers and murdering bandits most likely.
After years of watching GoT the hound is and always was the realist/ most understandable man
My dream man. I love him so much. Someone thats been to the dark .. but come back and realised they can 'help more than hurt'
A broken man whose compassion was simply bottled up due to family betrayal, hard necessity and work opportunity. But it was bound to brim over some time or other...wonderful character. Perhaps the best psychological profile in GOT.
I love that fresh videos are still being made about GoT and Sandor in particular.
Today is when Sandor Clegane died in Game of Thrones. He is a true hero of Westeros!
The Hound and Jaime are on the top of my favourite characters on the serie because they get Redemption
The story of the mount is more relatable than the other main characters in my opinion because he didn't start off with a healthy mindset but a rather crude and immoral one. My favorite character!
From monster who killed anybody he was told to , complete 360 to somebody who not only recognized the things he has done but feels remorse for them.
i think he held remorse and regret even when he was told to do it. it was his job, but he hated it.
This video and The fallen warrior video about him are my favorite tribute videos ever.
Flaming Fury59 this and the one that’s in the style of Logan
Flaming Fury59 ua-cam.com/video/hgyQ0YysqqA/v-deo.html
I’m just glad Arya became his friend
The scene where he finds his new friend hung from the structure of the chapel he helped build...
What a powerful way to start a character arc.

My favorite characters as well, anti-heroes
man i hope we see these 2 reunited again and ofcourse cleganebowl
Hound is my favourite character and def shares more than a few things in common with me. Had pleasure of meeting the actor who plays him in a local pub, awesome video 👍
Almost cried when I watched this
That was awesome. Nearly cried at the beginning. Love the Hound. Great editing on your part!
the beginning has me about to cry holy shit
Eat those chickens sandor!
eat every one...
As you wish
You're a talker! Listening to talkers makes me hungry.. I think I'll eat you and all you other commenters.
"The pain was bad. The smell was worse. But the worse thing was is that it was my brother who did it...you think your on your own..." 😥😥😭
Well edited. A beautifully complex character.
this was so amazing! thank you for sharing! he is my favorite character, and this made me love him even more!
Everything that has happened to him convinced him that there is more to this life than just the bad decisions you made in the past.
I was sad when he lost his friend. That was sad.I like the hound.
now this Clegane is surely a victim, and not all Westeros deserves him
That was beautifully done!..Captured everything we loved about the Hound!
Everyone loves a redemption story.
This compilation is so perfect. Well done. Well done, indeed, friend.
F me, that was just so well done.
I hope Arya, Sansa and Jon give him he home and family he deserves.
this was brilliantly edited.

He did got some friends, but some buggers killed them.
Am I the only one that sees only him on the Iron Throne in the end ?
He was and still is my favorite character ❤
Rest In Peace the hound you will be missed
What do you mean broken, this man was literally forged by fire.
If gods exist, why haven't they punished me?
The best actor.
Broken man my foot. The redeemed man is more like it.
Awesome video, Thank You..
For me best character of GoT.

The show tried so bad to keep every character at the same level.. but somehow "The Hound" is loved the most ❤
Man worthy of Kingdom

The Hound was Arya's real Dad. Ned Stark was a prideful fool. Fight me. (also the feels)
ned was not a fool
Hound is to Arya as Yondu is/was to Peter Quill
Ned Stark was a decent man in an indecent place. That does not make him a fool. As far as being Arya's real Dad, he hired Syrio Forell to teach her to fight, he encouraged her to be who she really was and he loved her dearly.
No Sandor is more like a cool uncle to Arya that show her the nasty things in the world and how to deal with it. I dont agree on the prideful but I do agree on the fool part.
AngryZombie808 I wouldn't place Sandor as an uncle figure, nor would I a father figure. He's more of an eventually close mentor.
