My 2018 model, I can't ride more than 2 hours at first then gets worst not more than 30 minutes even with 15 minute stops. Feels like something is pinching back of my thigh. I would gladly buy a different seat to remedy the feeling of a pinched nerve or what ever it is, if I only knew which seat to buy. Seems like different people need different seats. My buddy who I ride with has a cruiser bike, he also purchased an after market seat and loves it. When we did a NYC to N. Carolina round trip he sat the entire trip in comfort while I was in pain. Good luck to all who are searching for that perfect seat! I know i need it.
Good looking seat! I just got mine from Sargent cycle on the other side of the USA from me, had to ride my wife's Ninja 300 for 2 weeks while I shipped my OEM out and waited for the upgraded seat to come back. The seats on these aren't terrible, but they can use some improvement.
Hello Andy. I bought the 2022 Versys SE. Loving it!!! My seat is not good tho after about 1hour of riding. Just did 3k km in the last 10 days and it's been hard on my bottom. How are you liking your seat? I went on the website but it's all in Dutch :(
I just did 8000 km in 19 days and my bottom is bit in pain.......😉 the comfort of a motorcycle seat depends on many things, I have personally noticed that the use of seamless underwear improves comfort and extends the time I can ride without pain, and I have heard many times from many people that the placement of sheepskin on the seat improves comfort. In my previous Versys I had a Bagster seat but I wasn't happy, it was ok for short rides but for longer trips it was just too hard. Perhaps next year I will decide on a seat from the French company Topsellerie, we will see if it will be better than OEM
I have a versys 1000 2015 and my "forefront area" falls asleep after 30 minutes. I have cut the foam with a knive and left the seat horizontal flat and I am waiting for price for a new cover. Was that your problem? Have you solved your problem? Could you test it before buying it? where can I buy one? regards
No test ride by Premium but I was there for 2 hours sitting on it. After first 1000km I have to admit honestly I`m not very happy about this seat, compared to a standard seat it fits better to your butt, but unfortunately it is also harder which after about 5 hours of driving causes butt pain. Of course, I'm not saying that the seat is 100% sucks because it is also influenced by other factors, the driver's body structure, type of motorcycle pants (I ride in jeans in which Kevlar is sewn in and seams cause pressure on the upper leg) outdoor temperature, in hot weather after 3 hours I have had enough. I read the opinions of other motorcyclists and many of them are happy with the bagster, apparently my ass is different ;-)
I think it’s difficult to find the right seat. For some, the standard seat is OK, but for others it’s not. And when you decide to choose a custom seat, it’s hard to make a test drive. Regular stop for a break during touring to prevent butt pain ;)

each person has a different body built, and that is why it is so difficult to choose the right seat

My V1k got the Sargent treatment as well. I've been using their seats for over a decade. Every bike I own will get a Sargent seat!

no, the seat is not lowered, but there is an option to order with reduce hight by Bagster

Nice looking seat! Did you made a testdrive on the Bagster at Premium? And can you tell what your experience is compared to the standard seat?
