  • QUICK NO GI BUTTERFLY ATTACKS //
In this video I go over some of my favorite ways to attack from the butterfly guard quickly in no gi.
In no gi you have to be able to engage quick and create the movement. this is a great way to do that.

Hi Aaron - quick question on 1/2 butterfly. I bought your instructional and love it! I had had 1/2 butterfly and have a hooked left foot and I am about to sweep. I had good over-hook back control with my left arm (at his belt) and my right arm had control of his left sleeve (Gi), but my opponent snuck his right hand in at my left ankle and blocked my ankle to disconnect my hook. As I attempted to elevate him, he easily just came around to my right side into side control! I could not see his right hand when I went to sweep. Any thoughts? Hope this makes sense. Thank you!
