    Beat me to it xD Was going to make reconstructions too, but this is much better. Also liked that you pointed out the mistakes. Helpful for learners like me :)
    ----------
    1:20 Whenever I get that case, I always pop out the blue edge on the U layer with M U M' and then solve normally (U' M' U' M'). Alternative to misoriented centers.
    2:21 What are your thoughts on this solution? You can solve SB 2 gen with rU moves: (U' R2) r U r' U2 r U r' U' r' U r U2 r' U' r
    4:41 I usually do this when I get cases like that: r' U' R2 U R U' R' U R. It's the same thing, with minor cancellation.
    5:25 When I have a bad-misoriented pair like that, and a solved pair. I solve the solved pair, while influencing the bad pair: M' U R' U r U r U' R'. Alternate way of solving.

    If I do OH with right hand but do normal blocks order on 2H, how might I minimize the transition? I average substantially slower with my left hand OH so switching's not really an option. Any possible advice?
    Great average and congrats on WR!

    • @iurigrang
      @iurigrang 6 років тому +1

      Max Garza you could mirror your blocks and do right block first. If you plan on keeping that order I doubt either me or kian would have much insight into that since neither of us have to rotate in the transition.

    • @dakevinmg
      @dakevinmg 6 років тому

      Iuri Grangeiro I’m sorry I should’ve been more clear. I actually do use mirrored blocks on OH (right FB left SB.) I was just wondering if there were any possible suggestions on training OH in a way that allows me to have good lookahead on both events despite the mirroring

    • @criticalcubing
      @criticalcubing 6 років тому

      The way I think, OH is basically 2H solving done a bit slower, and with slight adjustments to make the fingertricks more ergonomic. You're doing OH and 2H in the opposite manner, which is akin to solving with 2 methods. I personally wouldn't recommend doing that since you have to work twice as hard to be fast at both the styles of solving.
      Alternatively, you can use Kavin's style for OH Roux. Rotate for SB and rotate back for CMLL. He has walkthrough solves where he goes over how he solves OH Roux. That would be better than mirroring entire solving style.

    Hey kian! I just wanna ask you something. Which one would you recommend to me as a roux user just like you? I have a very fast TPS but due to the unstableness of my GTS2 M, I had very bad times in the final round of my competition. So, which would you recommend? Valk Power M or Yuxin Huanglong M?

    • @Kian_Mansour
      @Kian_Mansour  6 років тому

      I haven't tried the huanglong, but I think the power M is the right cube for you. Out of all the top cubes, the power is the most stable so that will help you out.

    How do you get 9.54 WRA.. ?? I add your time and i get around 50... 50 divided by 5 is 10....

    • @kennymiller5837
      @kennymiller5837 6 років тому

      when You take the average of an avg. of 5, it is slightly different from when you would take the mean of the same 5 solves. With an average, you take out the best and the worst solve, and then you average what is left.
      So in this case, he would have taken out the 8 and the 15. That leaves him with 9.12, 9.59, and 9.91. When you average these three numbers you end up with 9.54.
