The Courtyard House is a home of dreams located in Hosur. It took six years of planning, designing, and sourcing various elements that become a part of this house that is a blend of nostalgia, luxury, and grandeur.
Traditional Indian elements come together with Spanish/ Mogul/ Moroccan motifs to create magic in a space that has no walls differentiating the inside from the outside. The architecture and interiors are tightly woven together to tell a story of patterns, colors, textures, and materials that are carefully curated within each room.
While the architecture was designed by Dutta Kana n and Partners, FADD Studio transformed the spaces with their interior designing, along with 3Fold Studio's landscape design.

It would be very helpful if you shared the budget for these houses. Atleast that of the exterior (walls, flooring) and interiors (woodwork, accessories etc)

👍 Great job, trust me very impressive.. I wish someday we catch up... I have a decent land Bank near Hyd which i wanted to raise into beautiful resort only to celebrate weddings & small gatherings... Intent is to accommodate middle class to lower middle class etc... Wedding has become very expensive these days.

good work what an ambience...wish i had known of this team before....gave my house in kerala to an absolutely disgusting architect from chennai and he messed it up..worst of all...he had his credentials that he had a masters from a foreign university that turned out to be fake....FADD....full kudos to you and the team.

Table top is from Bali, chairs are from Sri Lanka but why ??
We can just get these things from local markets.
They have sourced so much of things locally like aathangudi tiles but they want the main attraction to be the big dining table so they splurged a little by Importing. That's what I am guessing...

Most architech /interior charged fee as % of total cost to make the home.. so somehow it is linked increase cost of material..
You point is valid.. they could hv source the same within India..

Great house but I have a few insights to share:
1) The painted columns look tacky, you could have atleast avoided the patina colour, you could have used real copper or patinated copper sheets to clad the column
2) Anyone who has ever really cooked with tell you a white kitchen is just not appropriate, one can never maintain the white colour in a pristine condition...
3) Athangudi tiles in bathroom is a bad idea be it wall or floor they are very porous and will damage the wall and floor very easily
