@@tanmay4409 it's the whole making yourself one with music and the instrument, makes writing and improvising gorgeous music like this much easier. edit: relative pitch is like geometry and shape in music, to quote the immortal David L. Burge it's "the mind's understanding of what the ear hears" whereas perfect pitch is thinking about notes as the aural equivalent to colours and actually hearing the difference between say a C and a D. Imagine trying to be a great painter if you were colour blind and lacked depth perception would be the closest equivalent.
later addition: strictly speaking the lack of perfect pitch is more like someone was never taught visual colours as a child rather than physical colour blindness.
