James is a great interviewer. Even if I haven’t seen the movie or are interested in it I always watch these because it’s always a good video.
Two movies came out on March 8. One was a completely ridiculous and nonsensical story about an anthropomorphic bear attacking people.
The other was Kung Fu Panda 4.
Lol but Kung Fu Panda 4 is not a horror movie. It's not even horror adjacent. 😂
@@uzielyanez5975 That's the joke.
@@coolnerdlll6053 Oh, ok. 🤣👍
He seems like a nice guy. His movies suck, but at least he's a good guy.
It always gets so much harder to dislike a movie after having seen an interview like this.
@@williamtimonen6814 I know, I watched imaginary with my dad at the cinema, it started off good but then ended badly
I think it would have been a cool slasher idea tho
@@TalesOfHorror175That was me with Night Swim. The first forty minutes were great. Then it got stupid.
HEY! Watch it, Kick-Ass 2 was fun
honestly we need directors like jeff wadlow. his movies don't make sense but they are really fun if you're in the mood for a dumb movie. i had so much fun with imaginary and fantasy island. truth or dare is a guilty pleasure, it's good for a bad movie
Loved Dewanda in Jurassic World: Dominion!
From reviewing his movies Cry Wolf and Truth or Dare and also Kill counting i to now interviewing himt. This is awesome
They both seemed super genuine about this movie. I haven’t seen it yet but I’m going to go in with an open mind.
I never knew the director is great nephew of Robert Wadlow, The Alton Giant, The Giant of Illinois
I wonder if he would direct a movie based on Robert Wadlow
Imaginary felt like a disney channel original movie horror movie but from wish
HEY WAIT - My dad lives in Alton and they have some statues dedicated to this guys uncle in the area for being so tall 😭
As much as I don't like pg13 horror very much his outlook on forcing it to be R rated makes sense, it would just make a mockery of the story
Despite the fact that this movie did somewhat okay at the box office, i gotta say after watching this interview with Jeff Wadlow and DeWanda Wise ... i Kinda want to watch Imaginary.
Really enjoying these interviews!
dewandas performance was by far the best part of the movie. she really did great. i think the idea was good but really not a great movie 😭
Holy shit, he's related to Robert Wadlow!!
I might be the only one, but I loved Imaginary! Super excited for this interview
Dewanda is so pretty wwwow
Imaginary had a lot of good moments but unfortunately those good moments are surrounded by a lot of cliche paint by numbers nonsense. I wouldn't say it's a dumpster fire, more of a smoldering garbage can. But I appreciate the time in effort that went into it and these folks seem like genuinely good people. This was a good interview
I just imagine (pun intended) kids going "I want to see the imaginary friend movie" and parents or grandparents taking them to see this instead of "IF" by mistake. I can't believe there are two movies about imaginary friends coming out so close together with one being horror. That's a good way to accidentally traumatize your kids. But it could also lead to them discovering they like horror.
This was a good movie to watch in theaters
True
Felt so good to spend money on this movie & walk out full of regret ✨
@@Griffxgraff I was good to watch but it was just so stupid it was funny that’s why it was good nothing was scary in that movie
This didn't get a theatrical release in the UK, but i'll check it out when it comes to streaming. I've not been a fan of Jeff's other film, but hey, it's an original horror and he seems like a nice guy, so I'll give it a go.
big bear is example of how do balance cgi with practical
Ugh it makes me mad cause these people seem so cool and the idea was good but the movie was SO bad.
LET'S GOOOO 🖤🖤🖤
Ngl Imaginary is a fun mess for me. I wish some elements were expanded on (themes of childhood trauma, blended family dynamics, how this imaginary monster thing works) or it either leaned more into the camp or more unto the horror, but I'm not going to say the problems are all Jeff's fault or anything
I actually loved this movie. People just hates this movie because it's rated pg-13 just like five nights at freddy's.
Woo 🎉 is that really Maria Rambeau?🙂
I feel like this interview is late but oh well
Wadlow seems like a nice guy so I'm glad to see that but it's too bad he consistently makes bad horror films imo
Imaginary had a good concept, but it feels like the execution fell flat
James interviewing nobody
Movie sucks. A G rated sanitized waste of time.
