Hi Jack. Thank you so much for this awesome lesson. I'm looking forward to your future idiom videos. In my opinion, idioms are the weakest points of learners of English. We have the tendency to use them wrongly, too. I appreciate your videos very much. 💐

Hello, teacher. I have a question regarding your explanation of "to go under". At 6:44, you explained the concept using "to seize" to convey the idea of ["to stop, to finish" to operate.]. Didn't you mistake it with "to cease"? I couldn't find any "to stop-ish meaning" within the verb "to seize" online. I indeed appreciated the video; I learnt so much! Thanks.
It should be “cease”
@@tofluency Thanks!

I have watched where butterfly in my stomach used in a positive way. When someone is blissfully happy and excited, is it right?
Your book link is not there in the description.
in 3:20 the subtitle says ''one'' but you say ''won'' i guess...
To have butterflies in your stomach in Italian means to be falling in love.
hello from russia
Where's the comment that makes a list of the major items?
It’s in the description. There’s a link to the definitions and more examples there too.
Butterfly in my stomach : In French that mean --> I fall in love, I am in love
Have you heard the expression something is the new black? If I say Crossfit is the new black. Is that correspond to Everyone is starting to jump on the Crossfit bandwagon?
That's right. It's not used so much these days from what I can tell.
You made a mistake in subtitles I think so. In section no pain, no gain.
