Man, that's so beautifull! In the beggining it might seem very hard, but it's not, i'm sure, because it's so fun to model things. The paiting is what gets me, because most of the time i just can't finish a paiting and give it the right look.
I just watched an animated movie : *Arjun The Warrior Prince* and I really wanted to learn that kind of animation. Then suddenly, I remembered this channel. You teach perfect way to blend 2D+3D animation in a single scene. Loved this tutorial. Thank you so much♥️😊🙌🏻
"and then i tried to model a car, and it was hard" Man that had me in stitches. There are people who devote their entire careers to just modelling cars - you are insanely talented to just be able to do that first time! Great video and really enjoying learning more about your process.
You’ve inspired me to learn 3D animation! At first I didn’t want to touch it thinking it was the “rival” of 2D animation but now I’m realizing that it helps 2D Animation! Thank you so much for your tutorials!!
You inspire me everyday to keep trying animation and even though I have not uploaded in a long time my animation gotten way better I'm about to be 15 in April 24th
I just got here today and after seeing your works, I immediately subscribed. it is so fascinating to see the ease through your tutorials. I only look forward to a great future with this. A side note: will it be cool to add project timeline to your future vids such as when you sculpt and model, the number of hours or days it took to make them...and then when moved to Photoshop, the number of hours it took...etc. So one can follow through the hard work you put in your work instead of panning through. it helps to appreciate it even more. just a cue!
Hello, I really don't understand why your vidéos do not have so much vues, they are so great in quality and so well explained, I get really inspired with your style of combining 2d and 3d it's just amazing, and I think that's what I were looking for. Thanks a lot
Bro wtf i am sport climber from bulgaria and me and the national team traveled to your city Innsbruck more then 10 times and it's just awesome sorry for commenting keep the good work awesome drawings!!!
This is absolutely beautiful! The whole scene came to life! Your process of discovering your city was also really nice to see! Many people hate the youtube algorithm, and for all the valid reasons, but when it recommends me a channel I would've never looked up by myself, yet I insta subbed ;) I can only be thankful. Keep up the awesome work! ...now back to bingeing your videos :D
Damn man your content has such a high quality and your work is so refined. Have you ever considered moving to Japan and working there? Edit: I had an idea for the car. I often get a little stuck on the fact that the moving 3D elements have far less organic texture on them. You could send some nulls of the side/top/window of the car from cinema to after effects with Cineware. Then you can easily parent some photoshop layers on them and adjust with masking. It would track the car automatically and could be way faster than UV unwrapping and texturing etc.
Hey! Thanks a lot! I have not considered that, but I would love to visit Japan at some point. Thats a good Idea! That way you could have the texture bleed out outside the bounding box of the car too, making it a bit less stiff and more painterly. Cheers
i think you could paint a few reflections into the car lights and maybe some moving stripes onto the glass and maybe a grey simple shadow of the driver and car console behind the glass, that should be all simple shapes but should give the car a bit more look, its a bit sterile right now .. another idea in postpro is to render to 12 fps and then keyframe every 2nd frame and move it into place so it fits with a 24fps viewport render , you get a more cartoony look and you can save on render times , setting the keyframes so you get a smooth motion though, should be very easy (in aftereffects at least, you probably dont even need a mouse and its done in 10 minutes ) if you think touching the house to make it less 3d is too much work for all the scene BGs youll need in the end , then just use the filter waifux2 , theres a web version but also a standalone exe on github .. its different from all teh otehr paint filters youll find on the net and is advertised as an upscaling filter .. itll take away a bit of the 3d look of the house but not to much to give unreliable results or trying to add painterly look , youll probaly like its its perfect for the house what you are doing is great , im now working on my own 2d/3d mix animation with blender though
Your artworks are brilliant! You spent much time for this episode. Will it be a short film or it is already done short animation? Sorry for my english)
Awesome work! I love these animated illustrations and the massive storytelling potential they have. My only crit from a 2D perspective would be that house is way too clean. Why not hand paint on some details to blend it with the rest of your scene? You already have clean masks you can use with material ID or cryptomatte passes. Some food for though. Keep up the great work :)
Most of it comes from painting on top of the render. But I add some hand painted textures first just to add some colours. Got a few you can access from my Pateron
Really cool work bumped into your channel by youtube suggestions on home page :) I see your inspirational color pallets from studio Ghibli if I am right ? either ways really cool work.
Still don't understand how you don't have more subscribers... I love your work! Keep it up! Can't wait to see more!
Oh thank you! Its hard to get stuff seen now days :). More will definitely come!

You have absolutely insane skills of combining drawing with 3d. Good Luck !
Thanks a lot!
I love how you perfectly blend 2d and 3d together.
Man, that's so beautifull! In the beggining it might seem very hard, but it's not, i'm sure, because it's so fun to model things. The paiting is what gets me, because most of the time i just can't finish a paiting and give it the right look.
Absolutely fascinating - love the concept of mixing a 3D and 2D workflow - thanks for sharing your process.
Definitely not a custom house. That is a type. Beautiful work. Love your ideas. New sub!

so inspiring, lovely!

another idea in postpro is to render to 12 fps and then keyframe every 2nd frame and move it into place so it fits with a 24fps viewport render , you get a more cartoony look and you can save on render times , setting the keyframes so you get a smooth motion though, should be very easy (in aftereffects at least, you probably dont even need a mouse and its done in 10 minutes )
if you think touching the house to make it less 3d is too much work for all the scene BGs youll need in the end , then just use the filter waifux2 , theres a web version but also a standalone exe on github .. its different from all teh otehr paint filters youll find on the net and is advertised as an upscaling filter .. itll take away a bit of the 3d look of the house but not to much to give unreliable results or trying to add painterly look , youll probaly like its its perfect for the house
what you are doing is great , im now working on my own 2d/3d mix animation with blender though
Thanks a lot for this video man
legend🙌👌
Palm trees with a snowy mountain in the background. Interesting.
Like to see long video of your work with live commentary
could you please make one video about how you render in animate style. thank you so much!
When you added the car in, what did you do for the shade of the other objects in the scene like the house or the tree?
Wow, honestly incredible
Thanks a lot!
👏 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏
Good work 👌🙏
Thank you :)
impressive
Yes, I'm sure that I will become a member someday.
Bro what app are you using
Awesome as always 👏🏼
Thanks!
How did you animate the car movement though. I like your videos.you make animation look so simple. But it is harder than it looks😥
Your artworks are brilliant! You spent much time for this episode. Will it be a short film or it is already done short animation? Sorry for my english)
Great work man.
But could you detail more your process ?
how to render just like 2d ??
rendering is very important plz . tell from besic
do you have lessons for sell to teach by onnline?
i like your work and i watch all your videos so i tried to do it but i don't know how to marge 3d with 2d

great stuff, i love your style, reminds me of studio ghibli! also can please show the texturing process next time?
try to no become depressed like the city! :-) lovely result in the house composition for the way :-)
Love your work, but... often it seems to me that a similar effect could be created in 2D in much less time...?
Olaf storm please what textures do you use to give your renders a 2D look to them?
Most of it comes from painting on top of the render. But I add some hand painted textures first just to add some colours. Got a few you can access from my Pateron

From where did you learn animation and painting?? Is it a college or self taught or online course??
I can't build a proper environment.. 😔 can you give some tips to make one
Bgm❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Pixar should hire you
Instant sub.
Which software
Which software you use bro???
Is cinema 4d better than blender? In your opinion and not subjectively
I haven't used blender, but from what I have seen it looks great. I think its more about what you feel comfortable using.
Both are solid softwares
@@OlofStorm Thanks for the reply Olof! I'm truly a fan of your work, and I hope to produce the caliber of work that you do.
ey man, what program is that? u r great!!!!
