    Can't imagine how stunningly beautiful your garden will be when that lavender blooms. Bees and butterflies everywhere and the cats will be entertained for weeks. Blessings...

      Hope so! Watering it is an issue and some of the smaller ones won’t make it I think but if I get 30 plants out of 40, I’ll be happy

    I love lavender....smells so good! You have a really pretty flower garden. Thank you so much for the helpful, relaxing, inspiring videos. I look forward to your videos....love seeing the kitties too. P.S. the ending of the first lavender planting video showing the rain was so soothing and beautiful. 💘 😺

      What pollinators? They are killing them with the metallic chemical haze that they say it is Canadian wildfire smoke. What a joke that is. All my pollinators were killed in my pollination garden. It is sickening!!!! Smoke does not kill bee's. It tranquilizes them. Smoke does not smell like metal. If you can see smoke, you can smell smoke. Not smell metal.

    After all - Tomorrow is another day! ❤ Girl, I wish I had your energy - It's just so hot here in June, July and August! Your flower garden looks so lovey!! You are so right about continuing to produce real, natural food. I shudder to think about how lab-grown meat is going to affect the people who consume it. Precisely why I'm raising sustainable, dual-purpose chickens!

      Well, you need to catch up a bit. Did you see the one minute videos I've been uploading? I finally figured out how to make the simplest of "shorts." I can make them with one video on my phone, talking about the raccoons getting in my corn. See those and get back to me. Have a great day, my friend.

      Hello m'Tennessee tart. I have watched your UA-cam shorts. They're great. I'm a guy that's in touch w the intangibles. In your video titled "It's not easy" it seemed like you were almost tearing up. It is very difficult doing what you're doing. Loving it isn't always easy. I've said in the past you've taken a big bite. So have I in my choice. However I just fed some ducks, saw a bald Eagle in flight snag a fish & my Osprey screaming for a serenade on my mandolin. I'm keeping my eye on you, my heart for you, & my good juju to you. Be safe, don't over do yourself. Stay cool, there's always tomorrow. All my 💜, 💐♎🌎⛵🇺🇸

    Kaye, your flower garden is beautiful! I agree with you we need to focus on preserving and protecting our farms and gardens. English lavender is one of my favorites. We make tea, syrups, scones, multi purpose sprays, and lavender pepper jelly every year. Its definitely a family favorite.

      Wow! I’d like to try your lavender pepper jelly and please let me know how you do the multipurpose sprays. Feel free to send me an email at my first name@latebloomershow.com I am unclear about harvesting yet because it says you you take the whole branch but if you take the whole branch you’re cutting all the way down to the ground and so at what point do you do that? Because you have to have the flowers so then you don’t have anything?

    I know you're glad to get that planting done. Have a wonderful week!!❤❤ Be careful with vinegar. I've seen several read reports that it's been taken to 4% and that's not supposed to be safe to use in canning, pickels,etc. I got some more yesterday at Sam's. It is 5%.

    Lots of pollinator friendly and lovely plants. Glad for you. I am done planting until mid Sept. when it is cooler and will then try to do Winter vegetables. Flowers are not grown here in Winter as it is too cold and freezes happen. I do keep the Iris bed as is and those do fine. In fact I need to do the division this next season.

    • @Latebloomershow
      @Latebloomershow  Рік тому

      Can you tell me how you do the division because I’ve never worked on my iris is here and I do need to

    • @lindawoody8501
      @lindawoody8501 Рік тому

      @@Latebloomershow Summer to about mid Sept. is the time to divide Irises. First cut down the foliage to much shorter about 9-12". Dig up. Brush dirt off. Look for rot and cut that away. Keep the rhysomes that have a foliage fan on them. Otherwise discard the ones that do not have any leaves. You may have to cut pieces off a huge clump. Then replant the good rhysomes with the foliage facing where you want the foliage to look to and flowers will be there later next Spring. Be sure to water the bed after you replant. Hope this helps.

    • @Latebloomershow
      @Latebloomershow  Рік тому +1

      Yes I’d like to do all of that. I’m unclear though when and how you harvest it because I read online that you cut the whole branch will that includes the leaves which means down to the ground so stem flower and leaves so if you do all that then you’ve got nothing left and I’ve only got right now I have one plant that’s established and blooming so I I don’t want to harvest that one

    Beautiful flowers, Kaye! The zinnias are glorious this year! I love taking a few cuttings for an indoor vase. ❤ I have killed so many lavender plants with kindness through the years until I found that they like dry rocky spoil and thrive on neglect! 😂 I lost a whole hedge one year due to too much rain! 😢 the world is turning upside down these days! The NEWO has mentioned having AI rewrite the Bible so we all can belong to one world religion. Weird food, weird weather, weird economy, weird thoughts and beliefs, and weird Godless governments over us all while they tell us nothing is happening! Don’t look over here, nothing to see! Hide your food, hide your guns and hide your Bibles! They’re going to be taking them from us soon!

    Kaye, don't feed into the propaganda. People are already eating lab grown meat and don't know it. I worked at a college in the kitchen and the "chicken" breasts we prepared were not chicken breasts. They were perfect tear drop shaped. What you watched was "them" giving out information to distract. Cells don't grow that fast to "select" your meat in a vending machine. Your pollination garden is beautiful. Just like my pollination garden it should be absolutely loaded with bee's. Not a few here and there and a butterfly or two. I didn't see that in your video. I was watching very closely because I just lost all my bee's. I had hundreds of bee's and butterflies in my pollination garden and after the chemical haze I'm lucky to have two bees and a butterfly each day. Sickening. My food production is cut in half. My blossoms on my tomatoes dried up. I have tomatoes on the lower level of my plants and no tomatoes in the middle and now I have tomatoes on the top of the plant. What I am saying is all the blossoms that were waiting to be pollinated dried up and died. No bee's. I now have new blossoms and a few bee's. Sad

    • @Latebloomershow
      @Latebloomershow  Рік тому

      It wasn't a vending machine, it was a 3D printing machine. They've been letting this out to show us for awhile. I guess I failed to actually say it was 3D printed meat and fish. But you are right. UGH. Where are you located? It sounds like a chemical attack for sure. Yes, it is very sad.
