Just a reminder that tae is a baritone and to be able to hit that high note is quite hard for baritone singers but be nailed it perfectly in both studio and live version.... I'm so proud of him :)
the girl his father was beating up was taehyung's sister and yes he killed his father by stabbing him with glass bottle (in Stigma's lyrics you can see words like "deeper, deeper, the wound gets deeper like peaces of broken glass i can't reverse" and "the red blood is flowing down" and in some parts of the lyrics he was talking to his sister, by the lyrics and the short film it seems like he regrets killing him and now feels "prisoned" with knowing that he killed his own father, all of these solo songs have connection to their character in the storyline so it's important to pay attention to the lyrics.) but this all is just a theory and nobody has really said what is the song actually talking about
Kaisa actually no one really knows exactly what Tae is talking about in Stigma, it can be interpreted as either the storyline or his own family or something else entirely. He hasn’t talked about it much.

Not noticing a few words or a scene in a video is not gonna ruin his whole experience, and he should be able to focus on enjoying the story and the songs rather than worrying about every single detail.
gneiss dinosaur To be fair, for the first time listening it’s hard to take in everything at once, plus he was so overwhelmed by Tae’s angelic voice and incredible vocal ability. If he listens to it a few more times or watches the lyric video a few more times he’ll probably find more things that he missed the first time. I know on my first listen I definitely missed a lot.

The girl is his sister not his mother. Like he says in the lyrics "I'm sorry my sister". His father was beating his sister after getting drunk (domestic violence) so V tried to save her and eventually killed his father. Then he ask police to give a last call (he wants to call RM) he even called him in Prologue you've seen earlier but RM couldn't receive his phone as the telephone booth was locked (as seen in this video).
Fun fact: Taehyung has the widest range of voice at the vocal line because he can LITERALLY sound different person everytime he sings and this song proved that. btw i love your reactions on bts you nice guy, keep going 😁
The lyrics at the end were from the hidden track Whalien52. It’s a song about the loneliest being in the world. It’s about a whale that sings/speaks at a different frequency than all the other Wales (it’s an actual whale that was found and recorded). So it’s the loneliest whale in the world, because no matter how much it screams, no one will be able to hear it. Blue whales normally speak at 10-40 hertz. But this whale speaks at 52 hertz. So sad.. it ties perfectly into BTS’ message of wanting the youth to have a voice and to ‘speak Yourself’ and not let society shut you up. Really enjoyed the video. It’s cool to see you get sucked into the hole haha just as I was a little over 3 years ago. So it feels very nostalgic
you're probably my most favourite reacting channel right now. seeing someone that actually gives bts a chance and is ready to learn about them and where they're coming from warms my heart. they're still not appreciated enough by a lot of people. people that are too ignorant to give them a chance. the boys mean the world to me and they came into my life when i had the most difficult time and the most struggles. they saved my life and they make me want to keep going, to stay strong and try my best to love myself. they are like my best friends & family, and a life without them seems unbearable. i know them since 2017, and seeing them grow really makes my heart flutter. they truly deserve everything good in life, and i appreciate you so insanely much for giving them a chance and getting to know them and their music.

this film talks how guilty and sorry persona tae in the story line from hyyh from what he did to his father in 'i need u' mv. it also portrays the guilt that he has so he's saying sorry to his sister in the line *'i'm sorry i'm sorry my sister'*

Tae said it's something very personal not even to the member know (according to what Namjoon said some time ago on his live) and that tae wanted ARMY to understand the pain he felt -Things to remember: -"abraxas" -the picture of the mother in his eye -the piano ( I'm pretty sure they burned like 5 pianos in the making of these films. blam Yoongi.) Also when you get to jins film it would probably be a good idea to rewatch all of the others because there's a lot of references to the other films in Jin's. -The puppy could be symbolically referred to as innocence and how Tae embrace it but suddenly the puppy goes away from him as a reference that Tae lost the innocence in himself "There are different whales that speak different languages" - this is a reference to a whale that speaks in 52hz which isn't common. So the other whales can't listen to it and so it's like the "loneliest creature in the world" given that whales can live up to a very long time. BTS have a song about it too called "Whalien 52" (whale + alien). you have to check it one day

The story behind it is quite complicated hope you will be able, at the end, to understand it. But what you should keep in mind is that their solos have a meaning in the storyline but also in their lives, so sometimes the lyrics could have a double meaning. Thanks again 💜

first time commenting because I was waiting for Stigma's react. Taehyung (V) is known for his breathtaking beauty, but many people sleep on his talent, he has one of the most beautiful and unique voices in the industry. His vocal range is insane, his voice is so striking and he can do whatever he wants with it, a deep, husky voice, smooth, falsetto and incredible hight notes. AND he's a great actor, he already done one Drama, did you saw his facial expressions? is insane. This man is the god of talent.

I absolutely love this song. If you haven't seen this live last weekend, check it out. It's insane. Taehyung's range is crazy, and his voice has such depth to it. I feel like Stigma, to this day, is his absolute best song. But yeah, the whole vocal line is crazy good. I'm still hoping you will go for Best High Notes and Falsettos compilation. Hey Sammy! loving your reaction to the story line so far! just a couple of explanations: so the woman is his sister not his mother, and in the I need u music video V hits his dad on the head as well as stabbing him with the broken bottle (in the 19+ version) making us believe he killed him. Also jungkook is the one that got beaten up in that video aswell not V!
The dog represents his innocence and then when it leaves and he becomes locked up, it's his innocence leaving him which is one of the main themes of this album and series. Also really glad that you like this! It's a really great story.

"There are different whales that speak different languages" - this is a reference to a whale that speaks in 52hz which isn't common. So the other whales can't listen to it and so it's like the "loneliest creature in the world" given that whales can live up to a very long time.

Taehyung (V) is known for his breathtaking beauty, but many people sleep on his talent, he has one of the most beautiful and unique voices in the industry. His vocal range is insane, his voice is so striking and he can do whatever he wants with it, a deep, husky voice, smooth, falsetto and incredible hight notes. AND he's a great actor, he already done one Drama, did you saw his facial expressions? is insane. This man is the god of talent.
