  • I was invited to a get together in the Lake District, so I decided to cycle there and back. On the way to the campsite most of my route cycled was on the UK National Cycle Network. It's a massive network of off road or safe cycle routes throughout the UK. I followed the C2C (sea to sea) route as far as possible until I ran out of daylight and had to quickly pitch the tent and bed down for the night!
Health is a choice. Search long and hard, see how your body responds, make the right choices. Keep it simple and natural, low fat and not spiced up. Try not to eat animals or dairy. Try to keep off grain foods, minimise cooked food, eat more raw foo! Drink plenty of water, get sleep and rest.... and most importantly... play hard!

Agreed! Here I am, 12 years later working on my fitness. I'm not quite as lean and fit as back then! Apologies for my rather late response! I'm back on UA-cam after a 12 year absence, with renamed channel (was eatmoreraw). I will focus on cycling, other adventures, getting fitter, health and general feel good stuff.

I was completely hidden from the road when camping rough. I just locked the bike up with a Tesco's heavy duty combination lock (£10-£15) and leaned it against a wall. When at the camp site in the Lake District I locked it to a flimsy fence. I did think of an idea to chain it to the ground, and it is to use one of those screw in dog lead anchors and then chain the bike to that. If you just use a cheap bike then it's less likely to be nicked. Mine cost me £100 (£200 total with the add-ons).

Great video, how many miles, and how long did it take in total?

I think it was about 90 miles each way. Now that's going back a few years. Sorry for the VERY late response! I'm back on UA-cam after a 12 year absence, with renamed channel (was eatmoreraw). I will focus on cycling, other adventures, getting fitter, health and general feel good stuff. I've just done a 200km ride! I will likely post something on that in the next 2 or 3 weeks. I hope that you are keeping well :)
