Build EVE-NG on Google Cloud! EVE-NG is one of best platforms available for building labs, build infrastructure, network and security labs.. perfect for Cisco CCNA or CCNP. ** remember you do need to source the images for all nodes yourself, if you search the internet hard enough im sure you will find them! 🙂 **
@@gerardobrien There is a problem with accessing console of devices using putty. It shows network error: connection timed out. Html5 console works fine. Do you have any idea about this?
Thank you for the video! I got it to work, one thing I noticed was that after clicking on the public IP link to the VM, it attempted to open eve-ng via https , which it doesn't support out of the box. I had to switch to http for the web portal to work.
That was the point and I do mention that in the video 😀 ideally you'll be turning on and off this VM when you need it. If you have a static public IP at home then you can allow all just for that IP too 👍

great to hear you got it working!!
Please don't set your ingress firewall rules to allow all......that will leave your instance wide open....smh

For anyone wanting to lock it down you can check the required ports in the documentation and just open rules for them 👍
