Lovely work as always. Think i'll be painting up one of these in the Albino Axolotl look, that big wide mouth and the gill frills around the mouth should sell the look.
as a big fan of kroot id love to see you do basic carnivores i have 120 of them to paint and I've been copying many skin schemes to vary mine and would love to have more to copy
If you check in his past videos, there is a pretty nice one about The Kill Team hunting pack. It’s basically same models than carnivores but with capes. Hope this helps, good luck for your army painting ! (Would be impressive to see 120 kroots on a table)
I'm personally not a fan of the mount but your color scheme allllllllmost has me wanting him. I plan to kitbash him from a Lizardmen raptor but you have me really considering it here.
Another good paint job Andy. The orange does pop really well. Was going to say now that bat reps have returned to the channel any chance of seeing some more narrative 40k gaming again. There's loadsa channels putting out comp 40k content but not so much on quality narrative. Could even be a whole series on building the table up and armies upto the campaign. I've been collecting STL for my sister's of silence force. It will be getting done but I've needed a break from power armour so am going back to the genestealer cults.
I would be more tempted to paint that version more greens etc for a more camouflaged sniper theme and the guy with the spear who's more in your face orange like you did. The model and the colour scheme looks nice but for the role it's not for me. Sorry for the damp squib.
No worries man, it’s always interesting to hear different opinions! I totally know what you mean with camouflage, maybe they would be how they choose their mounts and train them when they’re young-based on the colours!
@@MediocreHobbies I would use the same background and reasoning as to them choosing there mounts. Though if there is a chameleon element to their mount, maybe it changes colour in response to the situation or the rider. Your scheme could be that he's got his threat, 'War-face' on?
It’s messed up how these models are out of stock and $55 a model and don’t get shipped until after 5/11. Yet UA-camrs get these models for free weeks before they go on pre-order. Guess GW has to get their money somewhere so they jack up the costs for non-UA-camrs. Maybe if UA-camrs had to pay like the rest of us the prices wouldn’t be so high.
Oh you silly boy. GW’s operating profit for half the financial year in 2023 was close to £100m, their prices have nothing with sending a few copies(that are made extra) out to UA-camrs 😂
@@MediocreHobbiesa few copies? These “few” copies end up on quite a LOT of channels. Not just a FEW channels. Why should normal people have to pay extra for these items and wait weeks and weeks because they are out of stock because UA-camrs are given them weeks in advance. What makes UA-camrs better than normal people who have been in the hobby for over 30 years?
@@rrohring1970 you need to watch the podcast on the painting phase that had the guy who started this program. He explains all. When the stock for these products are being ordered they decide to make let’s say 20000 copies of a product for the initial launch. Then they as how many are needed for the creator program. So let’s say 50. That’s added ontop. So it would be 20,050 copies made. What we get doesn’t affect The stock levels. So maybe relax. I try to make fun painting videos to help take the fear of painting away from new and inexperienced painters and you come and crap all over it with your toxic behaviour. That will look great.
It would be amazing to see a guide on converting dearhwing knights to black templar
I have done some really
Nice Templar terminators using 3d printed parts.
cool model, great video, not personally into 40k at the moment but seeing that guy could tempt me back
Hahah cheers pal.

I may indeed bash one out just for the playlist pal.

That’s higher praise pal. Thank you. Glad you liked it.
It’s a brilliant mini, and I really like the colour scheme. The jungle board campaign sounds amazing looking forward to it.
Yeah I really need to get on it!
Tidy work Andy! This is a cool mini and the rifle wins the rule of cool
Thanks so much! Yeah I think so, it’s badass looking
I appreciate that you put out so much content. Great job!
I do try pal. Thanks
Love the orange! When I get around to building my kroot army, I’ll be sure to follow this clip. Amazing and you make it look so simple.
Glad you like it and hope you enjoy your army too!
Honestly, when you started the commentary I thought you were starting a(nother) Grail Knight 😂. Looks good though. Bring back the Giant Gnarloc I say.
Hahaha I wish! Thanks man
Fantastic work as always! Always happy to see more Kroot love
All the love for kroot 🙌
You did a great job.
Thanks so much!

Great choice. I never get tired of seeing cult armies.
Kalamandra
Thank you!
Alright, this can technically count as a knight paintjob. Also, non marines are always acceptable 40k content.
Hahhaa I agree o have a few more kroot video’s to do don’t worry.

Is this HQ?
Do you have a paint list
I don’t always have time for write out paint lists but all the paints used are labelled in the video!
@@MediocreHobbies ok thank you wasn’t sure if any were missing in the video
