- Here it is; a Let's Play of another childhood favorite of mine... sort of. This is the 1999 version of "Richard Scarry's Busytown." I had the 1993 version as a kid (for MS-DOS). The 1999 version is similar, but with improved graphics and character animation that resembles the "Busy World of Richard Scarry" series more. I think this was released as part of a whole Richard Scarry software line released that year (mostly original ones to teach math, reading, etc, along with this remake.) The gameplay is the same, and all the original songs are thankfully included, but they omitted the Bananas Gorilla part!
In this part, we do some addition on the see-saw, torment Mr. Frumble by deliberately blowing his hat around, and then help Smokey the firefighting pig save Huckle Cat's house from burning down! I can't help but notice, it seems the firefighters in Busytown almost ALWAYS have to be pigs! What if a dog or a rabbit wanted to work for the fire department as well?
no it's Huckle's family in both versions, it says so in the song
I remember Big Bird thought the coats the firemen in Sesame Street Visits the Firehouse were raincoats.
im surprised Mr. Frumble isn't called Mr. Fumble because of all his mishaps.
"I'm number one!" We know Lowly, shut up!
Serenity Frost asked in her Let's Play of the original Busytown game if Sally set the fire.
First of all, it's Mother Cat and Father Cat like in the TV seires.
Second of all, you could say that Sally was somewhere else when the fire happened and she didn't know about until she came home and Huckle told her about it.
Hey, it's the elephant from Dr Diane's Hospital! And it looks like Sergeant Murphy and Mr. Frumble are replaces by Bridget and some pig I don't know.
Goodbye bananas gorilla it’s ashame that I don’t see some bananas at the park which the game cut bananas gorilla in the sega genesis/megadrive and the 1999 remake
Where's Sally? Isn't she part of the Cat family?
I'M NUMBER 1!! LOL
Why are the pig & that hypochondriac elephant from Dr. Diane's hospital all well-dressed up in shirts & bow ties in the See-Saw?
