This was a great video. Thanks for telling the story of the zippo you bought for your Dad. That folding hunter and sheath look so good. The leather was a nice addition.
Great story of Marine life on a Navy ship, glad you where able to get the Zippo when your father passed. I spent time on the USS Trenton in 1994 with a pit stop to be the last American forces (At the time) in Mogadishu Somalia. Live Long Prosper and Collect Your Own Way!
I have the same Case knife, handed down from my Grandfather. It's a terrific knife, one of my favorites. I need to get a sheath like yours, because it's a load to carry in my pocket. Nice Zippos as well, real keepsakes. Semper Fi.
I just purchased a Case carbon folding hunter with bone covers from eBay. The newer ones don’t have the lanyard hole which I’d prefer. I’m really enjoying the channel , nothing like starting my morning with a cup of coffee and watching a couple of your videos.
Were trying to hone in on that accent if yours. Don’t worry I have one too so I’m saying Alabama and she’s saying Louisiana. Who, if any, wins the bet?
I still have my FMF Pacific Zippo from the 1960’s. I bought mine at the PX about 1967 when I was at the Stumps. It has my name engraved on it.
Awesome Sir!! Semper-Fi!!
