Just had PFA several days ago and I feel great!! So glad to be off Amioderone! Just taking Metoprolol and Eloquis. Haven't seen vital #'s like this since being a teenager!! Thank you God and thank you incredible doctors, scientist, and researchers!

DITTO!!! I had the same exact procedure for the same diagnosis 3 weeks ago and I feel like a new person!!! I arrived at 10AM and was discharged at 7:30PM and eating dinner by 8PM at one of my favorite local restaurants in South Miami, FL. If, God forbid, I have to repeat the procedure for any reason, I’ll do it hands-down in a “hot minute”! ZERO pain before, during, and after the procedure! I would HIGHLY recommend it to anyone! I am a 64 year old female

Currently having my Proximal A/F controlled by low dose Flecainide, it's just a matter of time before I'll need a Ablation, and would chose PFA over the thermal ablations.

Excuse my curiosity, what is the reason your cardiologist decided to hesitate on the ablation?

@@homerjjhhj Had only a few episodes of A/F and night, decided to try a CPAP and the Flecainide. Haven't had any A/F in months now. Ablation does have some risk and if I get worst, that is an option.

I had a PF ablation procedure almost 4 weeks ago (8/29/24) for paroxysmal AFib and I feel like a new person!!! I arrived at the hospital at 10AM, was discharged at 7:30PM, and was eating dinner at 8PM at one of my favorite local restaurants. If, God forbid, I have to repeat the procedure for any reason, I will do it hands-down, in a “hot minute”! ZERO pain before, during, and after the procedure! I was given permission to (permanently) discontinue the Amiodarone the day before the surgery, but I remain on Eliquis & Metoprolol. I HIGHLY recommend PF ablation and am so glad & thankful this new procedure was available to me. (I am a 64 year old female.)

@@pitchponderings it went really well. I had it July 25, 2024. Only took about 1.5 hours. I’ve had no afib since and never had any pain at all. Still on eliquis and propafenone for another 3 months. At that time doctor will determine whether I need to keep taking them.
