I have an iPhone 5S for 10 years and dumating na ang time na kailangan ko na siya palitan. Now, I'm doing lots of research before buying a new one para sulit naman pinambayad mo sa phone. In my opinion, this tech reviewer and the sulit tech review account lang ang very honest and detailed mag review. I love the way they present the gadgets without any compromise. It reaches even the ordinary viewers and made them understand in layman's term. Kudos. Merry Christmas boss🥳Blessings🙏
Worth 10 to 12k badyet.

For me pagka bibili ako nang phone usually one year old na. Brand new pero last year na phone. Kasi mayroong phone na maraming bugs hardware and software. Especially ung infamous Samsung galaxy Note 7. After one year for sure lahat nang issue na solve na nang manufacturer. At tsaka its much cheaper than current upto date phones. In terms of battery performance hindi naman ganoon kalaspag ang mga flagship na one year after their release kasi hindi naman siya gamit brand new pa. Or hindi naman siguro one year maybe 6 months kasi ung mga phones are manufactured by batch hindi ung kung kelan ung launch date may million of inventories na sila.
Ang galing mag-review ni sir, new fave tech reviewer na kita sir dahil well explained lalo sa amin na hindi talaga mga techy. Dahil dito sa vid na 'to mas naintindihan namin ang mga iba pang need na iconsider when buying phones. Kudos and salamat sir. ❤️
Agree! On top of these, water resistance is also non negotiable for me nowadays. Haha! Software support din ng company ay important for me. Dapat at least 2 years nila i-support software updates. Otherwise, no, no no.
This is timely for me since I'm planning to buy a phone this year, since im already using my current phone for three years... Salamat sa mga tips techdad. 😊😊
I agree with you sir and this helps alot, but in my opinion 1st is budget kung san kaya: Entry-level Mid-range level (some flagship killer) Flagship level para maka decide ka kaagad 2nd is yung seu na mga option sir. juz my opinion lalo na ngayon crisis like you said sir sana kagaya nalang ng dati call and txt para simple lng at di kumplikado😁👍

nice advice Po Sir sana nilagay mo Rin na as much as possible unlockable Ang bootloader at my community malalapitan Incase na my software problem or stop na software update Ng manufacturer sa phone.
Love the edits on this video. Especially those little informative nuggets. This video hits all the aspect of how to pick a phone. And for those meticulous in picking a phone, I think we can all agree to this list. 5G right now is only in selected areas so apektado lang sa pagpili neto eh yung mga meron sakanila hehe love the video and effort sir Janus. Nag-iimprove every time. Also, I'd like to see your personal experience in amoled burn ins kasi my cousins and brother have experienced this. Pero it took almost 2yrs to manifest in their phones. And from what I've seen, either naiwan na yung keypad sa screen or parang nasunog ba yung some part of the screen. Mas ok pa pag yung may image retention kasi parang dead pixels dating dun sa may sunog. Di na makita.
This is realtalk. Magandang guide to on how to really choose what phone perfectly fits you or us. What really matters is if it fits our basic needs and maganda ang aesthetics (para agaw attention) char! haha! Great content Sir! :)
Mas mababa ang nano meter or "nm" means suoer tipid sa batt like 7nm and below .
Thanks for the video. This could've saved me a lot of time back in 2016. Inabot ako ng mahigit 4 months sa research. Medyo bago palang kasi dito mga chinese phones like Xiaomi and Meizu back in 2016. I eventually ended up with Xiaomi Redmi4 na naka Chinese ROM pa 😂
Para sakin yung infinix Note 11s pinakasulit ngayon. This is just for me. I bought one and so far so good naman. Malaki ram and rom, maganda din yung processor and yung design nya it feels like premium.
I agree, marami pang need i consider when buying a phone :) isingit ko na @Janus, gawa ka naman ng video on phone durability. As you mentioned in this video, may mga brands na maganda ung specs pero gaano sila katibay? Thanks :)

dapat din iconsider ung usage mo. If you like games, then probably buy a gaming phone. pero if basic usage lang, like call/text/browsing, then you may choose a budget level phone. pero if your phone is synchronized with your work, studies, etc. then ung flagship level ang piliin mo. they have the best features and security.
Share ko lang sir how I choose my smartphones. It depends sa kung saan ko gagamitin, like me ndi ko kailangan ng magandang camera a decent photo quality is good for me, ang important sa akin is speed/performance, battery life and build quality. So I usually fall on midrange smartphones, kaya sobrang ok sa kin Yun pocophone f series, just didn't buy the f3 kasi parang alanganin Yun release nya early 2021 Yun mga previous kasi around towards end of the year so medyo malayo pa dun sa susunod na release of phones( ayaw ko kasi Yun feeling na "sayang Sana naghintay pa ko kasi may lumabas na mas latest"). Lastly I want to share is my phone should last around 3 years, I mean last and still be usable in terms of performance, Ika nga is FUTURE PROOFING. Hindi din kasi mura ang smartphones. Yun lang po more power to you and waiting po sa next videos mo sir. God bless po.
thank you poh sir sa payo gusto ko din poh malaman about sa ips at amoled kasi akin kasi sAMOLED ang meron sa gamit ko phone more than 3 years kona gamit may 2/3 na yellowis sa pag full white background pag nanunuod ako video sana makagawa ka poh content about poh dito God bless poh more subcribers to come....
Probably the best TIL I got from you is the candybar term. Never knew it was called that way. With regards to the camera, probably the best example is an iPhone. For the longest time they have been using 12mp pixel size but they always improve the software and sensor. IMO the most recent to consider between the 7 tips is the charging speed. I remember about few years ago that spec is not even mentioned in reviews and now you have to and phone makers put that on the box.
Yes, you can have the best overall rounder flagship phones ( Samsung S21 Ultra, Samsung Galaxy Fold/flip 3, Xiaomi mi 11 ultra, Vivo V70 Pro Plus, iPhone 13 pro max, Pixel 6 pro, Realme GT, OnePlus 9, Oppo Find X3 pro ) But there is always that one phone that always falls behind the category Big notch Slow charging speed Fragile back and that's the iPhone. if touch ID, USB type C and durable back is Implemented, iPhone would probably be the best of all Smartphones already that easily.
But there's more.. Samsung fold with it's crease in the folding Xiaomi Having the shittest software experience Oppo and OnePlus being expensive AF Vivo with it's UI design on mid range phones Realme Lacking some things like OIS, ram and storage And Pixel being limited to specific regions only. These flagship phones all have limits. The only one that is almost perfect is Samsung S21 Ultra. It has beat the top 7 in this, since Samsung IS The company that made AMOLED Technology.
@@aiztoh how does Samsung S21 ultra compare to the new flagship Sony Xperia worth $1,600 in the U.S. P.S. I use both brands but Sony Xperia Z2 & currently have the Samsung A50S. And my other phone LGV20 thank you!

I have learned the ways to activate said phone but the problem is i cannot keep the documents and other important things i have stored in my cellphone. can i please ask a favor to do something to just provide a pincode so i my docs stored in my cp. thank you
I've been using zero 30 5g na may 5000mah vs v29 na 4600 mah and napansin ko lng mas matagal pa bumaba yung life nung v29 ko 😅😅😅
Thanks for a very outstanding reviews. I believed many viewers appreciate them , KUDOS Po Sir, May I request for the Xiaomi Mi Note 12 and Xiaomi Mix 4 for the next tech reviews. God bless 🙏.
My own recommendation(Bias). Set a budget(You don't need 10k-120k PHP for just browsing the internet) Find accessories and case before getting the phone(High end stuffs from iphone and sammy never had problems on this) Do you use phone for 14 hours a day? Get LCD Panel.
@@TheGerardDavid These are my points. 1. LCD can take abuse much more than OLED, You can set it to 100% Brightness all the time for many years to come and not worry about it. 2. Even if the lumens are below 600 nits you can see it under direct sunlight given you pushed the brightness to max. 3. In case you break it LCD Panels are much cheaper than OLED panels. 4. If you have Epilepsy OLEDs can trigger it for you. lower the brightness of oled phone and see it with your camera you see it blinking. I wish I was making this up. but it's true since apple is giving warning about it. OLEDs are prettier but LCDs are more practical. Newer technology doesn't necessarily means it's better. Everything has a pros and cons PS. I have both LCD and OLED as my daily driver, But since I can't abuse the OLED like how I treat my LCD phone, It won't retire anytime soon. XZ Premium 4k IPS LCD panel 5.46 Inch. which I've been abusing since 2017 5II FHD+ OLED 120hz Panel 6'1. Inch I just got this year
@@akaraikiriakatsuki3157 1. Depends on the brand 2. Still depends on the brand but most of the time oled is more visible under the sunlight. 3. Again depends on the brand but most of the time you are right about lcd being cheaper. 4. Can't confirm if oled is worse but even LCD screen could trigger epilepsy.
After 5 months of searching hindi biro paghahanap to haha kay Samsung A53 5g ako bumagsak hahahaha lahat ng ginawa ko sa listahan iilan lang nanduon sa mall nayon.. ang hanap ko talaga pang daily driver, pang build to last, reliable so ayun... focus talaga sa pag hahanap until ma satisfied na yung luho natin at yun na talaga haha thank you sa vid na to nakatulong din habang nanduon ako sa mall pinanuod ko ulit to haha 😄

Alamin din ang mga so-called bloatwares and also yung after-sales support ng brand.
pwede po gawa din kayo ng vid about sa mga legit store sa lazada and shopee
Sa lazada. Make sure na may mark ng lazmall. Antyhing na nasa lazmall is legit.
Bili ka sa official store like realme official

Count me as your new subscriber! Solid contents! Just discovered your channel yesterday.
Ang galing talaga ni kuya mag paliwanag about phone
Probably the best TIL I got from you is the candybar term. Never knew it was called that way. With regards to the camera, probably the best example is an iPhone. For the longest time they have been using 12mp pixel size but they always improve the software and sensor. IMO the most recent to consider between the 7 tips is the charging speed. I remember about few years ago that spec is not even mentioned in reviews and now you have to and phone makers put that on the box.
Yes, you can have the best overall rounder flagship phones ( Samsung S21 Ultra, Samsung Galaxy Fold/flip 3, Xiaomi mi 11 ultra, Vivo V70 Pro Plus, iPhone 13 pro max, Pixel 6 pro, Realme GT, OnePlus 9, Oppo Find X3 pro )
But there is always that one phone that always falls behind the category
Big notch
Slow charging speed
Fragile back
and that's the iPhone. if touch ID, USB type C and durable back is Implemented, iPhone would probably be the best of all Smartphones already that easily.
But there's more..
Samsung fold with it's crease in the folding
Xiaomi Having the shittest software experience
Oppo and OnePlus being expensive AF
Vivo with it's UI design on mid range phones
Realme Lacking some things like OIS, ram and storage
And Pixel being limited to specific regions only.
These flagship phones all have limits. The only one that is almost perfect is Samsung S21 Ultra.
It has beat the top 7 in this, since Samsung IS The company that made AMOLED Technology.
@@aiztoh and funny enough they all lack headphone jack port
Candybar phones are more commonly called brick phones before.
@@aiztoh how does Samsung S21 ultra compare to the new flagship Sony Xperia worth $1,600 in the U.S. P.S. I use both brands but Sony Xperia Z2 & currently have the Samsung A50S. And my other phone LGV20 thank you!
Thank you for the tips, po. I'm planning to buy a replacement to my phone kasi na dead na talaga siya kahit last year ko pa binili.
Waiting Sir Janus 💙

Ask po ako anu ma recommend mo na smartphones best for vlogging/camera and meron nfc at best for netflix.budget 20k.thank you sa reply.
I've been using zero 30 5g na may 5000mah vs v29 na 4600 mah and napansin ko lng mas matagal pa bumaba yung life nung v29 ko 😅😅😅
Thanks for a very outstanding reviews. I believed many viewers appreciate them , KUDOS Po Sir,
May I request for the Xiaomi Mi Note 12 and Xiaomi Mix 4 for the next tech reviews. God bless 🙏.
As for Amoled & IPS panel you'll see the difference in viewing angles. Same with tv's. ✌Thank you! P.S. No pun intended.
Sir pwede mo ba ma review ang uokitel wp15 15600 mAh ..
My own recommendation(Bias).
Set a budget(You don't need 10k-120k PHP for just browsing the internet)
Find accessories and case before getting the phone(High end stuffs from iphone and sammy never had problems on this)
Do you use phone for 14 hours a day? Get LCD Panel.
Why get Lcd? Pa explain thanks
@@TheGerardDavid
These are my points.
1. LCD can take abuse much more than OLED,
You can set it to 100% Brightness all the time for many years to come and not worry about it.
Everything has a pros and cons
PS. I have both LCD and OLED as my daily driver, But since I can't abuse the OLED like how I treat my LCD phone, It won't retire anytime soon.
XZ Premium 4k IPS LCD panel 5.46 Inch. which I've been abusing since 2017
5II FHD+ OLED 120hz Panel 6'1. Inch I just got this year
@@akaraikiriakatsuki3157
1. Depends on the brand
2. Still depends on the brand but most of the time oled is more visible under the sunlight.
3. Again depends on the brand but most of the time you are right about lcd being cheaper.
4. Can't confirm if oled is worse but even LCD screen could trigger epilepsy.
@@lawrencegerona9032 what brand can you suggest po?

I believe it is very important today lalo na at padami ng padami ang online seller like me.
@@leaboncocan986 depende s chipset yung battery efficiency nya, kaya meron mga phone n kht 5000 lng yung power mas tipid s 6000. kya pde monsearch yung gusto mo unit pra s battery test kng gano itatagal, then meron dn mga review if may batt issue like s ibang phone n madaling mag drain. pero 5000 mah lng ok n po bsta dpat ok dn yung chipset nya
Sir ung oppo a94 po mgnda po b sya n unit pang facebook at watpad lng nmn d me mhilig sa games
Please gawa kapo ng revuiew about AMOLED BURN ISSUE what are the common reasons andhoe to fix it thanks sir
And sa build and design. Kung kaya magsustain ng prolonged usage ang SOC with the cooling system.
