Amoled burn happens when the screen is turned on too bright for prolonged periods of time which causes the organic elements of the amoled matrix to degrade which leaves a faint image which is really noticeable on the screen. One more thing, when the amoled screen is frequently exposed to uv light such as what happens to phones that cyclists and riders when they mount their phones on the bike or otor cockpit, the reaction that happens when uv light strikes the organic dies of the amoled display which eventually degrades the performance of the screen. Static images on high brightness for prolonged periods can contribute amoled screen burn-in.

Bumigay lang yung motherboard but never nagkaburn-in throughout its lifespan. Auto-brightness and screen time out to 1 min lang ginawa ko. Actually mas naiinis pa ako sa screen retention, yung redmi note 4 at redmi note 5 ko nagkaganyan within 1 year. Inalagaan ko naman yung IPS like an AMOLED display pero nangyari parin. Then, nag iphone 7 ako for 2 years, doon ako namangha sa IPS display, never nagkaretention.

Perfect? Nope. Despite of slightly more expensive, the AMOLED is more efficient than OLED. OLED are NOT that flexible. It would crack when bent. Lol Current AMOLEDs have higher refresh rate than any OLED display and better picture quality albeit a bit less black than pure OLEDs which isn't visible to the naked eye unless viewed under bright light.. OLED picture quality looks dull. Try to compare it to AMOLED which can be brighter and vibrant but at the same time can be adjusted to be color accurate.

Now i can't confidently say if it was actually a burn-in or just a temporary after image (since it was said that you can't fix a burned-in screen but rather just burn the entire screen or get a replacement) but i tried to fix mine using the flashing blue, red, green, vids from yt. On max brightness for 2 hours. And yes it did reduce the visibility of my so called burn-in then I adjusted the color scheme to normal (used to be vivid setting) and I dimmed the brightness of my screen. After 3 days the burn is gone! COMPLETELY! I even tried using the burn in screen test and did not notice anything now. So it's either it wasn't a burn-in or I totally fried my amoled screen and it's pantay now 🤣

Thank you for making this video. For protection na rin sa eyes kaya less than 50% most of the time ang brightness setting ng screen ko. Nakatulong pala mga yun to protect my amoled screen 😊 Ang ganda pa rin ng display kahit luma na tong samsung phone ko. Never going back to any LCD phone kahit gaano kaganda ng specs.

I just happen to experience this screen burn in my Realme 5 ngayon. I bought it last 2020 and so far I really love its durability, like all phone aspects. There were times na nadrop ko siya but it was a long time ago. Since I bought it, naka dark mode ako palagi and I never switched to light mode kasi nga it doesn't hurt my eyes. So, back to the problem, nagka screen burn Realme 5 ko ngayon pa lang while playing Mobile Legends. Minsan ko lang tinataasan screen brightness ko but when it comes to gaming, I always switch it with non-automatic during daytime but on nighttime, no problem kasi naka automatic brightness ako diyan. So ayun, I was very shocked sa nangyari. Nagka red lines agad when I am playing tapos I immediately shut down my phone. Pagka-turn on ko, wala na, horizontal lines are all over the screen. I am not knowledgeable with this problem at first, because I thought this will happen only when your phone had multiple drops na. I watched videos about the problem and even posted sa realme community kasi di ako mapakali sa experience ko. I haven't told my parents sa nangyari because wala kaming pambili ng phone, and wala talaga kaming pera. Sad timing lang for me because malapit na rin pasukan and wala akong magamit. I feel like I want to cry kasi sa simpleng game lang na probably the reason why I am enjoying my life daily kasi di ako lumalabas and I am not social, like having friends ganun, would take my happiness away. Playing games were my happiness but I never knew those were the reasons that would take away my happiness, too. Wala akong mahanap na solusyon, on my own, iiyak nalang ako.

Be reasonable in using oled technology. No need to max out the brightness unless you are outdoor. Praning dn ako nung una sa oled tv ko pero burn in is already a thing in the past. Wag lang hayaan mga static elements for hours and hours in max brightness. Cumulative po ang pixel burn out. Imagine every pixel may sariling gas tank, pag naubos = burn out. Ako yung Samsung A30 4 years na hanggang ngayon wala pa rin burn in. Tama ang tips. Auto-brightness tsaka dark mode.

Sir pano kung heavy gamer ka pero yung brightness mo no more than like 50%, siguro around 10-35% lang lagi yung brightness, can you still experience AMOLED Burn-in issue?

Amoled bleeding Sir is medyo common din sa Amoled. Eto yung nagkakaroon ng parang violet ink sa screen na after ilang days after mag appear, kakalat na sa buong screen. Sa Samsung J7 Pro and Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro naging common yon noon eh.
