Its funny how lots of the mach loop videos are very similar but i still get exited to watch each time there is a new one. Some amazing stills there too wow.
'79.....I was finshing up my 4 years in the Corps in Beaufort in an F-4J Phantom squadron. We had an Air Force newfangled F-15 stay overnight in our hanger with an engine oil leak. Folks.... that was over 45 years ago!!! and they STILL look state of the art 🙂
At our rc field we have a little valley and hills in line with our 400 foot runway. I invented a move I call the "Mach Loop run" - I go in at ground level and then in front of the hill I pull up into one end of a Cuban 8 then back down the runway and into the valley at the other end of the field and then complete the Cuban 8. The Avanti 2 80mm jet is my favorite airplane to do this with. I was inspired by watching Mach Loop videos.
Elwyn this is just soooooooooo amazing , I could watch American air superiority and air power all day . Even when it comes to our allies , you are truly blessed to be able to do that task
Wonderful quality captures, the Herc and A400 looked cool. I wonder if someone would put a Spitfire through the Loop one day, the sound would be awesome too, thank you for sharing
@@ElwynR Very fine camera. Thanks. And it always reminds me that it these pilots make certain mistakes, they will die. They cannot get out safely always. Guts, glory and talent. My best wishes to them.
I see many flying with weapons. In the mid/late 70's when I was in, we rarely did....even with the Cold War. Only during missille shoots, etc. The World is a mess, atm. I hope cooler heads prevail. and I'll leave it at that.
Hello mr Elwyn to achieve someone this shoot in the 1:38 minute of this amazing video what shutter speed has to put on his dslr 1/8000 is enough or higher?
@@ElwynR Copy that mate, I went Tues 15th Oct..AM… saw cock all … was in the area so did Cad West for the first time. Said it was gonna be fair cloud.. but it pissed it down then cleared up then pissed down again 🙄🙄🙄
Was that Canadian taking pics of you taking pics of him?🤔😂😂 Loving the heavies, good to see some different insignias.. Thanks Elwyn, top stuff as always 👍👍👍👍

Yes I agree, but they all take different lines then there's different light and weather make it all unique 👌
F-15's charisma is still intact 🤩😍🤩
Yes for now 👌
Still one of meanest machines ever made.
The F35 is a beast😱😍
Absolutely brilliant footage of F-15E, F-16C , F-35A , Puma helicopter and others in action via Mach Loop, stunning 😎👍
F35s were B not A, RAF.
@@anglonig1 ok that is true and thanks for sharing :)
Fantastic Elwyn! Thank you!

Those guys on the back of the 130 have the best seat in the house.
I'd pay good money to sit there lol

you could just do like did and join the Corps 🙂
@@ElwynR no doubt!
not at my age lol

It's wonderful, the F-16 is cool 👍
Still love the F-16!
My next mach loop video next week should feature plenty of F16s 👍
They looked super agile too for some reason.
Thank you Elwyn R ❤😊
F-15 will always be the king of the fighter jets
Me too 👌

You are 100% correct. What other fighter a/c re-enters production over 50 years after its first flight?
The MIGHTY EAGLE!
The fact it's approaching 5 decades is unreal. What a beast

Thanks a lot! 👌
Absolut super und phantastische Aufnahmen und richtig geile Bilder. Ich bin richtig begeistert. 👍👍 from Germany

Lovely sound from the jets 💙
The sheep in the valleys and on the hillsides don't even look up anymore. They can probably tell you what plane is overhead from the sound.
😁
Probably one of my all time favourite videos with all the variety of planes.❣❣❣
Glad you enjoyed it! 👌

Very nice, just can't imagine the noise coming from the ridges (ear plugs required).

Di Iawn Elwyn, unusual for the F-15E to get that low through the Bwlch!
These were well seasoned pilots 👌
Great thet you're back !
And I'm glad lol
Great quality video as ever, Elwyn - keep up the great work, thanks! 👍👍
Thanks, will do! 👌
That is awesome. Thank you for showing us this. I’m a new follower and love your videos.
How fast were the Fighter Jets going (about)?
Around 500 knots
Absolutely superb. Do they fly here every day? I’m thinking of wild camping
not bank hols and weekends and the weather will have a big affect on flying
@@ElwynR ok, tyvm. Do you track them on radio or Flightradar24 etc?

@@roderickcampbell2105 that is too true, only exemplifies their skills. There has been no crashes here I think.
yes Flightradar but they dont all track
We see them flying over Welshpool and Lake Vyrnwy, may I ask where abouts these were filmed? I just love seeing them,. 🙂
Bwlch Oerddrws , Dinas pass on the A470 between Dolgellau and Dinas Mowddwy and Tal y Llyn pass N Wales

Good day..nice to see Canada's new fighter, eh?

Hi mate, I'm writing from Brazil and I'm curious to know where this place is and how to get there? Thanks for the great videos.
If you Google Mach loop there you will get plenty of info it's north Wales UK
lol cool
Pack you're kit, because you guys are hard-core with military aviation! You're in the middle of no-where taking footage! Great Work!😆🤘🫡

Its 1/1600 ISO 560 F2.8
@ElwynR thanks for the tip
i would love to know where this place is exactly
It's called the Machynlleth loop between Dolgellau and Machynlleth hence the Mach loop north Wales
I'm always curious what is the point of these Mach Loop exercises
Low level training
A re-upload ? It seems to me I saw it a few weeks ago.
No, all new footage off me! 👌
How do you know when they are Going to fly
you sit there and wait lol
F35 looks plenty agile to me. Some in DCS seem to think it's a slug.
I'm pretty sure it's capable enough
@@ElwynR indeed
Maverick?
Could be 😁
Where are British planes? Soon you will forget you manufactured any...
We don't manufacture anything anymore in the UK 😬
Was this, this week mate ?
Yes most, but the Canadian C130 and the Puma from the previous week oh and the Polish F16s from a month ago
