Saludo ako sa effort mo Erwan and your team. talagang naka focus kayo sa topic at usaping ito para sa ating local community. Sobrang daming posibilities na hindi pa natin nata-tap. God bless to ur team Erwan!
I love how this vlog shows stories, not just the usual vlog/cooking show. Hoping that this episode also brings awareness to our LGUs to support our local farmers.
Thank you Mr. Erwan in taking us to different places in the Philippines. I myself a Filipina, but never been there. So its like we are joining you in your adventure. Please make sure to keep safe always on your travel. Your so brave that even if you got lost, you still don't panic and give up. Hope to watch more of your videos and hoping you will have your own channel in the TV 😅.. Ingat!
Thank you Erwan & your team for featuring this kinds of content. The stories & cinematography are amazing and I greatly appreciate how you showed the resources we have in PH, Bless you guys x
Thanks for featuring our province Nueva Vizcaya. Your team did a great job. sorry but I couldn't stop laughing when u were lost haha..indeed the mountains here are tricky...I hope u will come back for more adventures...enjoy
Nakakakilig makita ang probinsya ko (nueva vizcaya) being featured. Its so rare so everytime i see it in media naaliw ako. Theres not much going on here but its peaceful and if you love to hike, you'll probably like the moutains here.
Love the story and the value given to our provincemates who provide food for all of us. Watching it brings forth pride of place. Come back soon for more in Nueva Vizcaya ❤
Salute to erwan and to his team. Ever since I watched every video uploaded here in UA-cam. The quality of the content was amazing.. supporting the local through featuring the environment, foods and local people to share what’s they can offer in the Philippines. Thank you for this inspiring and quality content
I love this channel. It doesn't focus on mere earnings but to expose our culture and the undiscovered beautiful things about Philippines provinces. Keep it up Erwan and team!
You filmed this on August 26 this year, right? We saw your team (the black Forager) when we were hiking in Ambaguio going to Pulag! More power to your team, Erwan!
Рік тому+2
Thank you FEATR! There’s more to see in Vizcaya. Hope you can visit again
I’m so glad you featured about NV! You’re right, it’s not much talked about and didn’t even know much about the province til I started watching Gayyem Ben!
I love your vlogs Erwan and team!! I'm from Sagada and I loved your videos up north as most tourists usually go down south in the beaches... Thank you always. I esp love when you cook in nature with the organic ingredients from the local you visit... 💓
8:01 this part here is one of the important sections of grate’s vision. ever since rice prices rose up during the 3Q of the year, i studied all about local farmers and everything about agriculture here in the Philippines. it might be the bare minimum and least that i can do but i convinced most of my family members to purchase and eat locally-produced rice instead of names and imported once sourced internationally. it’s times like these where ‘tangkilikin ang sariling atin’ should apply.
The dagway brings back many memories, its been ages since I ate one. We usually joked that its like the mucus in our nose when we have runny nose cause the texture is very similar.
Also the gipas. We used to drink that when i was a child, we usually visit our cows in the mountains and we bring back gipas. As a child i didn't really like the taste, but i kinda want to taste it again
I couldn' stress this enough. Erwan's content is the best, most thought out content in the Philippines. It touches. geography the local culture, adventure and that's not even inculding the videography. The writing/script itself is the GOAT. Ang reklamo ko lang siguro is that there is a new segment title every other video. For an OC, who love organizing, please man @FEATR settle down on the new segment names once in a while. I understand, so many concepts and there is a very few who cover these things. I loved " The 81" by the way.
You should try to go to the province of apayao as well, specially the municipality of Conner who produces lots of varieties of fruits, and learn their cultural food as well. Thanks for exploring the beauty of our country. Keep it up. Take care and God bless to you and your team
Yes Mr Erwan. I’ve seen the rattan fruit being use for siningang. But not that variety! I believe what u tried is an unripe littuku, which is a bit bigger in size and should be sweet when ripe. The sinigang variety is called giwi, it’s smaller in size and way sour even when it’s ripe.
As the older folk used to say, when we would get lost in the mountains, "winala kayo ng espiritu ng bundok". Kidding aside, glad you found your way to your team.
i miss my hometown Kasibu and all the fruits and even the " Nangay " forgot how we call it when we we're kids we always eating that when we climbed the mountain.
I was there friday, saturday and sunday. I was thinking baka sila yung nag over take sa amin sa baler HAHAHAA it's the exact same 2 cars naka convoy 😭💗💗💗 or baka feeling lang ako 😂
We travel with our motorcycle all over Luzon and visayas .Worst road was in ifogao wangwang but it's so very pretty place .We live in baguio for a while and now we live in the province of dumaguete city.
yesErwan we have been making pork sinigang with the rattan fruit. But personally, I began with rattan as a waker upper. Isabela long ago was more than a 12 hour drive. But try and have a bunch of rattan and eat some as you drive. I promise you, you’ll stay awake
I hope the government will see this video and give more value to our farmers. Kudos FEATR!

The government simply needs to ease bureacratic procedures and lower taxes across the board. Let entrepreneurs and local businesses thrive.
