  • This thorough and thought-provoking discussion provides a clearer picture to the dynamic American political landscape. While race and gender might drive political preferences and determine political participation, the bigger picture is far more complex. Differences in education and shared economic outlooks, the rise in ideologically driven donors and political polarization, the decline of moderate candidates, and even the array of factors like conflict aversion which discourage women from political participation all shape and subsequently shift current and future political outlooks.

It's an easy answer. The general kind hearted average joe/Jeanette just want to take care of his/her family. It has always been that way.

Hi, it seems that if this view is acted on by a political actors they are likely to concentrate on policies which make their supporters feel good or virtuous rather than on the content and quality of a policy. Is there a correlation or cause and effect relationship between the increased practical application of this by political actors and the increase of polarizing views and / or between the practical application of this methodology and the increase of political actors who portray their supporters as victims (by both parties). It does seem that it will be difficult for a political actor to admit that some of their supporters may be partial authors of certain problems and to engage in complex policies without alienating their supporters?
