If you haven't seen their Thunder Struck performance. It's a must see.
Was just about to comment this one of my favourites of theirs they are really talented ✌️
Beat me to it. I was about tor recommend the same thing.
First one I thought of too to suggest lol
Definitely one of if not the best
He reacted to it 2 YEARS AGO!

For those who liked the first part also its Wilhelm Tell Overture.
2CELLOS - Highway To Hell feat. Steve Vai [OFFICIAL VIDEO]
It's the bow that they shred in every video of theirs.
Admit it, you don't know what a Cello is! Maybe some extinct whale? ;D
But their version of Thunderstruck??? Wow, that is sooo good!
Amazing group. Their live version of 'With or Without You' by U2 is legitimately one of the most beautiful pieces of music I've ever heard in my life.
They were a great band! They split up amicably relatively recently. Thanks for the reaction!
That bow hair being shredded is theatrical. Hairs do break, but not to that extreme.
It's actually not a string being torn to shreads. A bow is actually made of a bunch of fine hairs. So it's just each hair breaking
Bet you ain't ever seen someone crowd surf while rocking out on the cello
I was fortunate enough to see these guys when they were still together and touring. I talked my family into going with me. They gave me the side-eye when these two warmed up with a couple of (really well done) classical songs, but when they busted out songs like this, there is no question they are immensely talented. Incredible musicians, and they put on a damn impressive show.
Get me some peanut butter, because I am so jelly of you!
This is a song called The Trooper by Iron Madian. A heavy metal group. The bows are strung with horse hair.
FINALLY YOU LIDTENED TO THEM! But check out AC/DC s Thunderstruck and Sweet Child O mine from G&R and living on a Prayer from Bon Jovi these guys give you another appreciation for their music😍🤙
Adds their version of Beethoven's 5th symphony mixed into Whole Lotta Love by Led Zepp
These 2 guys (Cello Group) now are playing individual performances in Europe. I follow one of them (the guy of left side) he's Absolutely Talented and Brilliant 🎻🎻
They definitely know how to shred...😂
2Cellos are phenomenal. I have followed them since their first album. If anyone ever gets the chance to see them live, do it! They are just as energetic as their videos. ❤️🤘✝️
Love them.
- They have a lot of great covers. besides those I see mentioned in the comments, there's their versions of Queen's The Show Must Go On and GNR's Welcome to the Jungle.
- It's called the Trooper Overture because they start with the William Tell Overture (aka the Lone Ranger theme) then transition into The Trooper by Iron Maiden (which was much more to "the crowd's" liking 😋)
- yeah they did a good job on the transitions swapping out the instruments.
- the bows for cellos/violins/etc don't use strings, but (traditionally at least) a whole bunch of horsehair (from the tail). What you see breaking is individual strands of the hair. I suspect 2Cellos went through a lot of horsehair during their performances😄
Thunder Struck and Back in Black next
The videos are not live performances, but they're extremely fun videos though.
They were the first guys who showed me that AC/DC's music past Bon Scott could really be worth listening to! Yeah, yeah, Hells Bells etc... But Thunderstruck (the video) by these guys were so wonderful to both watch and listen to, that I almost forgot I was born just in time to love The Eagles' Hotel California, or thereabouts...
Go listen to that one!
2CELLOS - Thunderstruck [OFFICIAL VIDEO]
Definitely one of the most iconic musicians to come out of my home town of Pula. I was part of the crowd on the shoting of this video, awesome experince. It's always fun to see people reacting to it. If you enjoyed this definitely check out more of them.
Due to my Romanian ancestry I am obligated to comment : HaHaHaHaHa "Pula" *giggles*
So many stolen town nameplates, a real dick move haha
Only thing funnier is Botswana with the official currency named pula. ,😂
This is my absolute favorite by 2Cellos
❤❤
❤❤❤❤
If you want to go down the Cello rabbit hole... Kevin Olusola from Pentatonix has his own solo channel, he does some insane stuff, "Down" is a favorite of mine...
Also, Apocalyptica's version of "Hall of the Mountain King"
Thunderstruck... when they are in 1800s garb...
Yes, it's amazing!!
Lindsey Stirling - Roundtable Rival (Official Music Video)
🤯🤯🤯!!!!
Please listen to more of them, and also Apocalyptica, specifically The Unforgiven and In the Hall of the Mountain King!
I'd love to see them and KO play together
This is badass!
I highly recommend you go to their channel and watch live concerts.
Got to see them play AC/DC Thunder Struck.
Haha yes this is a music video so there is editing magic. However there are live performances of them, and the sound is all real.
Got to see them live a couple years ago! It was amazing in person, they are so funny and so entertaining. Spectacular rabbit hole to go down.
These guys are great. You should also check out Apocalyptica. 4 guys with cellos. Several Metallica covers and some other great stuff 😃
If you liked this, you might also like the Prague Cello Quartet, especially Bohemian Rhapsody or Phantom of the Opera, the videos are stunning as well as the music.
Hey Cliff, you’ve introduced me to a lot of great artists I wouldn’t have found so, thanks man. Now I’m on my way down a 2 cello rabbit hole..
Been on my lifetime bucket list to both afford and be able to go see these dudes live once in my life. They supposedly put on the most electric live shows. So cool you check them out even though their channel/label/whatever is rough on the copyrights.
That first song will always remind me of Animaniacs.
👌🏻
Such good musicians.
The Trooper by Iron Maiden
These guys are absolutely incredible
❤......daaaammmnnn😮bRA!!!!
If you'd like a real 2 Cellos treat, watch their video of "Mombasa", the version performed live at Suntory Hall in Tokyo. Amazing. Great reaction - thanks for sharing!
Omg what a talent
I'm sitting here singing the vocals!!! 😊
You should see their rendition to smooth criminal by Michael Jackson it’s amazing
I really like their cover of "wake me up"
Iron Maiden trooper
I have most of their music, great playing and videos they do
Sam and Dean definitely had a couple of weird off years, y'know?
Insanely talented ❤
They are so damn talented! This is not easy! I play the violin. They will be getting those bows re-haired after this… so much breakage 😂
Check out their led zeppelin/beethoven mashup, freaking awesome!!!!
The first one I saw was a street performance of GnR’s Welcome to the Jungle. It was just as they were getting well known. Then Thunderstruck with the old English crowd reactions.
There is song with Late awesome voice of Naya Rivera MJ Smooth Criminal.
Awesome content and commentary from you sir.
Guess where the term "Shredding" originated.....
2CELLOS - Wake Me Up - Avicii [OFFICIAL VIDEO]
rip
@CliffBeatsOfficial can you watch Stevie Ray Vaughn Texas Flood live at Macambo? I think you'll really thank me when you see it and you'll see what a virtuoso he was and died at age 35 in a helicopter crash in 1989.
Hey, Cliff, gotta a band you might enjoy check out the band Wheel and the song Dissipating, let me know what you think, the audio version would be great
Subscribed for your rap reactions/breakdowns and get introduced to two guys I've never heard of playing cellos like next generation HeeHaw fiddlers...Thanks!
OMG was this your first time????? welcome to a small rabbit hole~ If you habent do desperito ..use it for a romtic night with ya other half
Greetz Cliff. Hope you're doing good. If you have the time then do yourself a huge favour and look up their Pula concert from 2013 ( 2CELLOS - LIVE at Arena Pula 2013 ). I think it was their first time playing to a major audience at home (might be wrong though) The energy is off the charts ! Been waiting for you to find them = )
They are geniuses on cello but together 🤯. They have together a lots of CDs and videos, but lately they split. They had just enough (and enough money for the rest of their lives 😅)
They split after Luka Sulic ( one on the right) decided he wanted to spend more time with his family instead of the constant touring they had been doing. they were going to split in 2021 on their 10th anniversary with a world tour but Covid put a stop to that so they delayed the tour and split in 2023. Stepan Hauser ( on the left) still performs but is not doing so many concerts as they were doing 200 flights a year pretty much all of the time they were a duo
😢
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND "Tom Traubert's Blues (4 Sheets to the Wind in Copenhagen)" by Tom Waits (Also known as "Waltzing Matilda"). His voice is so unique that one critic once described it as though "it was soaked in a vat of bourbon, left hanging in the smokehouse for a few months and then taken outside & run over with a car"! He's a well-regarded & respected songwriter from within the "Rock" genre from the 70's & 80's. I'd LOVE to hear your take on his signature song. Link Here: ua-cam.com/video/hW2vyytxCGM/v-deo.html
check out 2cellos w/ Steve Via
Wut the....
2cellos are fun and all, but Apocalyptica did it first
If that is so my view go to waste i guuess😅
