The break even and trailing stop make this much safer and more worth it. Trailing stop is a great way to increase win rate.

First day on 10k challenge on eurusd and up 1.75% today. Demo accounts been doing well. Would be good to get some info on best lot sizes for the other pairs. Keep up the great work!

re FX2. important rules are "are trades held over weekends allowed" , "is it ok if a trade closes during news", "do they use that trailing drawdown thing?" ( awful)

Hi wiryapranatha415, thanks for your kind words. I cannot speak to all prop firms, just those I have and am using. I have had no issues with FTMO, and as I progress through my larger challenges with other prop firms, I will document and record videos on the entire journey including payouts.

Hi achille1577, you can have up to 99 individual EAs trading on 1 platform. But if have many, you will need to make your entry lots very small. For a 10K account, I wouldn't recommend more than 10 if you plan on trading 0.1 lots with 1:100 leverage.

Hi isytrades, many of my video include instructions on backtesting in Metatrader. In terms of optimising, you can use EA Studio for this. It has a built-in optimization tool. In the help section, there are videos that will guide you through the process, from start to finish. And it comes with a free 15 trial, so you have a lot of time to create and optimize your own EAs. And the backtest results are displayed immediately when you create a strategy or the Generator finds one for you. Hi nelsonma4711, I have never experienced this with any of the prop firms I've been using. Some users have been concerned about using the same EA as other traders, and you can change a few very minor settings to mitigate this, but again, I have not come across this issue with any of the prop firms I've used. The best prop firm is simply the one that you are most comfortable with, that has no limit and a few don't require a verification phase. Look though the videos where I review them, and try a few on demo to see which suits you best.

We are no longer working with, reviewing or recommending prop firms. Because none of the prop firms are regulated, it's very difficult to know which are legit and will honour their commitments in the long term
Petko how did the 200k challenge go? Did FTMO remove the your end of 22nd of September eventually?
Also when you use current market condition, is it for today going back the last week? going back the last 15 days? looking back the last the last month?

Hi stefd5886, I am still going through the 200K challenge. There is no time limit on the challenge. When using the FTMO Robot, I look at the performance of the robots for the past week, and select the best performers for my challenge account

Hi Logitecc1, not necessarily. Only if you cannot keep your PC or laptop on all the time.

Hi Artix3341, the rules of the EA are identical for MT4 and MT5. It's exactly the same strategy. I would recommend putting it on both MT4 and MT5 demo accounts, and compare the results. If you see the performance is different, then the issue lies with the broker. You can also check and make sure trailing SL is enabled and set up in the inputs when attaching the EA to your chart.
Thanks! I think all is needed is HOW to choose the lot size when deploying 2 or more EAs on 1 live prop account! It is based on account size or the number of it pairs being deployed?
Hi achille1577. Correct, you should use entry lots according to the account size and asset. So, if you've got a 50K for example, and running 5 EAs, set them each up for 10K. The new FTMO robot V5 includes set files for each asset and account size, taking the potential losses into account to protect you from failing challenges by breaching the drawdown rules.

Hi achille1577, basically, if you have a 50K account, and want to trade a few assets on that account, simply select the set file for the account size (10K in this example) for each asset.

Hi achille1577, each set file is named to reflect the account size it has been created for. For example: audchf 25k account.set
I bought this robot and tried it for 3 weeks on 2 demo accounts 1st account which started 3 weeks i started with 100k it reach 10k profit then went in drawdown to reach 84k in 4 days
And the second account 100k started this monday and it went until Wednesday to reach 7k and then it went from Wednesday evening to today to a drawdown until 99500
And today it made back to 104000 then after just 2 hrs it is back to 102000 again its not that good .
Losses is more than winners and the best between all 7 robots is eurusd
i can confirm this. I purchased it 1 month ago but more losing streaks then winning. Tried all different settings but still no succes. I contacted support and they answered me that there must be something wrong with what im doing. Its still running on a demo account and going down.
I have a friend that's also tried it and said it was totally trash.
Hi mooohm8077, as you see in the video, the idea isn't to trade all 7 on your live account, but to keep an eye on the robots using an app like FXBlue, and use only the one, or more if you wish, that is currently profitable in current market conditions.
@@PetkoAleksandrov i tried it on first account with all 7 to check which the profitable pair and which is the lossing pair .only 2 paris are profitable Eurusd and Euraud a liitle bit but the win rate of eurusd is 45% but the r:r is the one making it profitable and and euraud 55% but the r:r ratio is equal so overall it can’t pass a propfirm challenge

Hi mikestansbury2510, it is the same robot, however in the Udemy course, only the EURUSD is included. While the robot is essentially the same for all currency pairs, the others have been optimised for their respective pairs.
Surely the robot below that - that had lower less and slightly less profit is actually the best performing robot? Also when will the new robots for new pairs be added to the training course?
Hi ryansloane6953, the EA in the course is the EURUSD, the rest are available for purchase on our website, as a set. They are all very similar though, just optimised for the different currency pairs.

ok, i got something for you to work on. i use some indicators on my tradingview account that follow the ict order blocks(nephew sam) with fair value gaps and the ict silver bullet(luxalgo) strategy. would you be able to work on robots that trade with those strategies in place? if you drop a udemy course on that with robots that trade that way, i will definitely grab those as well! i got most of your courses, but if you made those, that would be "icing on the cake" as they say!
I already asked him and because those aren't currently on metetrader (by default) they won't be created at the moment

Hi johannamador8933, yes. The EAs were designed specifically for the challenge, keeping the max DD in mind, and reaching your trading objectives, but once you pass, you are welcome to continue using them on your funded account.

We need to see the profits made over time, because I don't see it documented in your myfxbook profile and others.

Hi Artix3341, market conditions will determine how the EA performs. Whether it hits TP, SL or breaks even according to the rules of the strategy.
if you have MT4 on your desktop, Can you not just add another account under accounts and add your bot to a chart on that account?
Hi originallifeclothing4038, your account needs to be connected to the server in real-time in order for the EA to execute trades, so only the account that is active on your desktop with the EAs will automatically execute trades. You can however have multiple instances of MT4 running, and as long as you're connected to the broker's servers, each will execute trades. You can also have multiple charts open for the same or different assets with their own EAs (or the same) running on each chart.
Is it allowed there to have trades open over the weekend?
Hi massimo5037, yes, but you will pay swap fees to your broker. If it's over a weekend, it will be 3 days worth, and no trades will execute while the markets are closed.

Hi MuslimAqeel_, it depends very much on market conditions, your broker, their spreads, fees, your account size, entry lots and your leverage. I aim for 5% monthly, with low drawdowns of course, but as mentioned, this depend on current market conditions.

Hi mosesnero8737, I have been trading with them for almost 2 months, without any issues. However, no prop firm is regulated, so my suggestion would be to start small, and withdraw your profits regularly, just to be safe.

I purchased the FTMO Robot and have been going through backtesting on various pairs. Results are all over the place based upon market conditions and settings, which makes sense.
What is missing, IMO, are set files for the various pairs. Granted you give an explanation of each setting, though understanding the nuances and interdependencies of the settings makes the task challenging. The time need to backtest the various iterations is almost infinite.
Moreover settings in MT5 bot for NZDJPY is missing *at least* Trailing Stop and Magic Number. Lastly the only way to contact support is through an email address or web form which never gets answered.
Overall this Bot, documentation, missing features, and lack of support makes this Bot a solid 2 out of 5 stars.

If you purchased it from the official website eatradingacademy.com you should have received 7 different robots for the different pairs, so there is no need for set files. Also, we do answer every single e-mail or question from our contact form within 24 hours. Feel free to drop an e-mail at info@eatradingacademy.com. I hope you did not get it from a scammy website..there are a lot that duplicate our work.
I appreciate the response. I bought the bots from eatrainingacademy directly. I do not understand the comment regarding set files. Are you saying the having 7 different robots for the different pairs that the settings are the SAME for every robot + pair? So the underlying strategy is good for every pair, just a matter of risk management?
Also, as noted in my original comment, MT5 bot for NZDJPY is missing at least Trailing Stop and Magic Number. Same params missing for GBPAUD as well. At this point the product is minimally lacking QA, and at worst is inconsistent with the marketing. I fear this is another bot full of hype, limited/generic direction from the bot owner, and a while bunch of deflection.
It would be great to see you and/or your team do a live session with the bots, including walking through settings

Hi forexwithdharm06, the ftmo robot will work on any prop firm. You can adjust the drawdown protection value to suit the prop firm rules you're doing.

How is optimisation done? Are you using DLL for it or do customers have to optimize ea manually, mostly asking becouse you use title getting better, did you use neural indicators as it gets better ?
