Yes.
You can actually install up to a 360mm AIO on the top of this case. Your not limited to a 280.
this. and you actually can take the top of the case off, it's just screwed in.
i just bought my p500a case and just heard him say upto 280mm on the top and got so shook wtf. I tested fitting my 360mm rad and it works, wow scared me so much there
You will probably get negative air flow 420 intake. 500 out take if you add another 140m fan in. The rear area. Unless you don’t add another 140 m fan on the back and have a 360mm aio it’ll be positive 💪
Thank you so much for the front panel cable installation recap! Helped me figure out what was wrong with my build.
you are such an underrated tech youtuber i swear. the content is amazing
Good video! Recently found you in my recommended and im loving your videos!
Great video!
My current rig is from 2013 with a Haswell 4770k so this video will be of great help!
Great video, especially for us beginners! Could you make a video about rgb where you explain how to set up rgb components in your case such as rgb fans, rgb strips, etc and how to control the light effects? Greetz from Germany!
Great video info 👍I've just bought this case in white & it's a beauty
Now diz iz awesome need to try it out great tips my guy new subb here by the way keep up the great work bro hope you been doin great....
This build makes my mouth water..
Great video tho!
One day I'll be able to build my own PC XD
But I'm learning a lot from your channel ever since I found it!
Yes
Nice video and nice configuration. That s a 1/2 hour i ve liked
I didnt even realize you made this until now. I cant believe i would miss a Robeytech video. But, it was was still a great video!
The best pc build guide ever. But i wish i could see an intel build. I have been following your channel for 2 weeks and i was motivated to build a pc by your videos keep it up. 👍👍👍
Thanks!!!
Just ordered the cpu ,case and motherboard thanks to you hehe
Awesome video
love the build
the best part of the video : he is wearing a LA gladiatiors jersey
spending $1800 on a video card when the new $499 3070 will outperform it... :'(
This comment didn't age very well.
It seems for me you have installed an extra fan on the back of your case, which one is that? Checking Phanteks website p500a d-rgb come with 3 front fans +2 from AIO. Can't see it in the PC part list. Thanks
I'm going to build this when I get enough money
after the build was completed what step was taken for software / Bios setup?
The build I was looking to complete post COVID! Quick question, if replacing the regular fans with rgb fans would you change your radiator setup at all/maybe think of a different cooler?
Hi Robeytech. You said in the video that top radiator support is 280mm but on the Phanteks website is advertised 360mm. Why?
I’m gonna build this when I get to Korea
Your thoughts on installing the AIO on the top instead of the front?
Or do you have another video on that?
Hey,
Can you please tell me what you used to connect your fans for power?
Did that cable come with that case or did you buy it somewhere 🤔
Your response would be greatly appreciated.
Hello RobeyTech,
I followed your 500$ pc build and it works great! However, I’m unable to get my front panel 3.5 audio jacks working. The pc doesn’t even detects them. And I’m only able to play sound through the monitor. I’m unsure if it has to do with me unable to active windows since I need a product key but can you help? PLEASE!
Nice
Love that Gladiators shirt. Who's your fav player?
Which rear exhaust fan did you use?
Help me please. I am building a PC similar to this with a msi x570 gaming edge wifi on the same case as you. Except it seems my mobo doesn't have an input for the usb 1.0. Does this mean I don't need to connect it? It does have a 3.0 one though.
Love the video just did my p500a build as my first pc build everything has gone smoothly but I can’t get my rgb controller at the top of the case to work any suggestions would help
was the ram switch from the g, skill trident z neo necessary ?
Is it required to have a back fan? If I have a water cooling system and fans at the front
Do you need anything to daisy chain the rgb fans cause i am confused.
I would really really really love to see a fail compilation from you robeytech !!
The shirt logo reminds me of ThunderCats... 😍
P/S Miss my old time memory.... 😢
Yall have any suggestions for a x570 board.... it will be housing a 3800xt, and a sapphire 5700xt, 32g of ddr4 3600mhz
I have been tossing and turning to decide...
I was looking at the steel legend to keep my white aesthetic... the 570 tomahawk with wifi, or the msi meg ace... and i legit have no clue what to do
Hello. I will be building very similar build. Can I ask if extension cables are needed?
I bought this case but some RGB lights aren't working. i.e: half of the front fans and half of the strip at the bottom.
HELP.
I must have a bad rgb controller. I set it up and fans work, front of case lights up, but just cant get the psu shroud to light up and also power switch doesn't light up.
I had a ton of trouble looking for the MB cables (SW, reset and power) that connect to the case power button
Do I need to install an additional back fan? I will have the 3 in the front and a 240mm radiator at the top
Installing a rear fan makes literally a 1C difference in temps, not worth it.
@@2shae475 already bought it 😂 more rgb lmao
I just bought this case with an extra phanteks so pwm rgb exhaust fan. My motherboard is the gigabyte aorus x570 elite wifi. How would I connect my all my fans? Is there enough can headers on my motherboard to support all 4 rgb fans.
I think they’re daisy-chainable
Awesome video, just did my first pc build using this chassis, only thing I’m having trouble with is the addressable RBG buttons at the top they don’t seem to work for me any advice would be great
Im not sure how to help. The RGB cable from the case is supposed to be plugged into the 5v 3 pin A-RGB header on your motherboard. Please note if you try to plug it into the different 12v 4 pin RGB header it wont work and it might destroy the header or lights.
That's almost identical to mine, different memory, no water-cooling, and different case, but everything else is the same.
Does the AIO not already come with thermal paste? Hard to tell from the video.
Did you guys watch it? He stated that he had already used that AIO and was re-using it in this build etc.
@@kenzobankz4490 I was being overly sarcastic because he said it so many times.
hi! great video. Did you notice the manual for the p500a says to connect a POWER LED connector to the motherboard? Mine doesn't have that cable, and yours doesn't appear to either. I think there are supposed to be LEDs on the top of the case. imgur.com/EmYddN1
I wish I could have this I have a 250$ refurbished laptop lol nice vids 👍
Hello! If you have 4 ram sticks do you lose dual channel?
No It will still be dual channel. each channel has 2 slots.
I have the same AIO and i am running a Ryzen 3900 and my temps are high even at idol. I know the cpu runs hot on AMD platroms but why are your temps so low?
I’m using the be quiet pure 500 Dx actually.
Make sure you have a good fan configuration in terms of airflow for your case and fans
damitderek I am using the NZXT h1 with b450 itx paired with a 3600xt
Joey i know someone who has this problem too
@@Average3djoe I heard this case runs things on the warmer side. Not enough air flow. Hopefully the next gen case improves that.
Anyone know where to buy that colorful led clock? Looks great!!
Its the water block from the NZXT Z63 AIO. You can probably order it from them directly or from an online retailer if they have it in stock.
Can we get a 1,200 USD full on white build?
Link parts links are all incorrect
I have no complaints about the style or presentation of your video. But at least get the dimensions right. The p500a Can support a 360mm radiator in the top (you stated max was 240). The rear exhaust can support a 140mm fan. If someone was considering this case but wanted a 360mm AIO or something they might have thought they have to go for something else. Generally, good video though.
Bless your editor
I thought the top can mount a 320.
Apparently the fans are noise and to loud when on high for cooling why this case is putting me off but i do like it specially the white one
Then turn them down. You shouldn't really need to use them at full speed most of the time This case has decent airflow as it is.
@@MrCrazyjoe259 i went out and brought it the (white case) version and yes i did turned them down as a brought a PMW fan controller 4pin connector so its not running at full speed all the time and i can set it through the motherboard bios because these fans that comes with the case are not PWM 4pin. but as there is no dust filter the case do get dust coming from the front fan and you can see it on the bottom of the case and needs to clean the fans front mesh
Watching the vid and can’t even buy it xD
Me as a european:
How much radiator space i have?
The one youtuber: about an half inch
newegg motherboard link is wrong. it's an Asus board instead of Gigabyte.
@@RobeytechLive When?
I wanna see bench marks on this
Is it just me or do i hear the ryanair boarding song in the background at the start?
I need to upgrade my pc so bad it’s so behind compared to this
Nice case, sold out everywhere. Phantecs own store is out but they have 5 available out of 60 cases they carry. Pretty lame
hmmm. should have 3600 mhz ram. Master is more or less the perfect motherboard though.
Nice build
I would love to see a low-wattage build that is less wattage than my 3900x processor chip only Vs build...
Upcoming 4400 G plus system versus just chip
Finally, someone who shows the rgb fans connecting for dumb people like me.thanks
I’m doing this one now. I need a workstation first then gaming. If it was the other way I’d have gone 10900k My list was close already, just need to change a couple parts. Btw’s the real way to tell if it’s a dad joke is to look at your kids reaction, if they look at you like you’re an idiot, it’s a dad joke.
So does this guy watch JayzTwoCents
@@RobeytechLive DadzTwoJokes
Yes but can I have it?
And there's me who has laptop with no graphics and 2 core CPU 😅😥
Tomm10 same😂
That $1,800 2080 TI graphics card is going to be worth about $400 next month.
Enjoy it while it lasts.
Nah it’ll drop to about $800, but not immediately (production will stop)
@@castlebear199 Still think I was wrong about the 2080 Ti only being worth $400?
Michael Nager nope. Good call fam
Michael Nager from what I’m seeing this build is more or less around $2000 now. Crazy
@@aaronhelton4867 The thing is that the person making the video must have known that the 2080 Ti would effectively be worthless in about a month, and if he didn't then he is a clueless numpty and should just STFU.
first
This build just got a 1200 bucks cheaper
Second
Bottleneck Calculator: "AMD Ryzen 9 3900X (Clock speed at 100%) with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti (Clock speed at 100%) x1 will produce only 6.57% of bottleneck on 1080p resolution."
lol 420
Ow, my ears!!! Please don't sing "Tiny Screw" again!!!

is every damn channel building in this case with no storage?!?! I want to see how fucked up cluttered it is with all storage in but no channel is doing it.
Feel like most people going for a mid level case wouldn’t be using HDDs
@@TheBalfrog SSD for media is something I dont do. I use HDD for media, only need 1TB of it.
Some one donete some money 🙏🙏🙏 I want geming pc please please please
why is this guy so weird
Is this all you do? These builds might be worthwhile if you donated the systems after you built them. Many, many schools could put them to good use.
no you dont say that what school would want a gaming pc, and no one would donate a 3700 dollar pc, he does giveaways on his streams as it is, he is still grrowing as a youtuber, and putting someone down like that isn't right.
the schools have their own budget, this dude has his youtube channel as a living. in other words, saying he should donate his 3.7k$ pc for a school is the same as asking an average guy to work full time at some company to buy a pc just to give it to a random school, which you can do if u want, or your parents can do if ur minor
I think my future build will look almost like this
