Along with DJ Premier, Madlib, Pete Rock Jdilla....The Alchemist is one of the greatest producers of all time......Alc is a genius
Honestly I think he is the goat now. Because of how long he’s stayed on top and also been underground at the same time
@@ashconbeats8414 in the game but not in the game, I love his mindset with this 💯
@@ASAPJermz he literally had like 3 eras. The original Copy style. He’s mainstream days with Mobb deep and solo albums. Then his new era of taking young rappers and making full albums with them and releasing beat tapes.
MUGGS
@@ashconbeats8414 he’s def the goat
alc will always be in my top 5 producers
same.
same. and not #2, 3, 4 or 5.
@@PenpalSeff I love Alc but he’ll never be better than RZA
#1
Respectively. Uncle AL is one of my all time greatest production curator/ geniuses to ever do it and he just gets greater with time.
im glad he said, theres nothing wrong with being a beatmaker. if a producer calls you a beatmaker it's not always an insult, beatmakers are important too. the guitar player doesnt get mad at the producer when he calls him a guitar player
Neat hearing from Alchemist, he doesn't grant enough interviews. He's one of the greatest producers of all time.
Really collab I want to happen at this point is Ka x Alchemist, the fact that they are in a similar circle and have yet to work with each other is crazy
That's a good call
That would be crazy
100!!!
yes yes yes
yes, especially with Al’s new sound. i know it’d be immaculate
Walked past Alchemist one morning in Amsterdam back in April, never got a picture or a signature….I still regret that shit,I was high as hell and didn’t wanna bother him.funny thing is I was listening to tana talk 4 when he walked by. ✌️
wow, super dope experience
mustve been so surreal listening to his beat while he walked past you
@@mrgame97 “thowy’s revenge” was the song that was playing
Dope ervaring man.
My nigga alc has survived from the 90s and still one of the best out. Legend
Phenomenal run
I appreciate the good follow-up questions.
The biggest thing I take from Alc interviews is his perseverance and willingness to experiment.
Thanks for watching!
Uncle Alc is just pure inspiration.
Over the years and the run he's been on this past decade, ALC has become in my top five of GOAT producers.
Beat heads can't get enough of this dude!!! Such an inspiration!
Number 1. In my book, there isn't a lane the man hasn't trod in Hip Hop wise. Actually mind bending whe you think of his contributions to the culture. Living legend!
100%
Wow Al really don’t know how good he is on the mic unbelievable
So insightful. ALC is undoubtedly a legend.
I Appreciate Alc so much, obviously all I've ever known from him was through the media but every single time he drops something new I get a burst of inspiration because I'm one of those supporters who has watched the documentary he released called "The Chemistry Files" several times and also the video where he is with Prodigy and the other ones of the crew chilling in Alc's living room smoking, head bobbing to a loop and writing songs, those videos were a HUGE inspiration in my beatmaking journey because I can only think about his work ethic when I see how far he has gotten, his dedication to beats it's big enough to get to where he is at now with a grammy and also a hit song with Kendrick Lamar and it's so crazy to me how he got there with making beats, as black thought said on his freestyle with flex "Wondering how we got so far from inspired". Everytime I listen to a new proyect from Alc my mind remembers the documentary he made and I picture him just making beat after beat after beat locked in and it instantly makes me do the same after feeling that burst of inspiration in my chest, I actually think that if it wasn't for Alc I wouldn't be making as much beats as I have made already. Much props to Alc definitely a big source of inspiration
The baby on the bad boy poster is asap ferg
That's wild that Muggs used 3 SP-1200 lined up pushing them to the limit, that's what I love about beatmaking the creative drive with not much material
jup, nothing beats the feeling making a BANGER from literally nothing and some ol' dusty sounds
This channel is underrated.
This really was a legendary conversation.
So many gems & great stories in this! 💎💎💎
Al is easily top 5 producers of all time…… and continues to get better over time
Dope conversation! ALC has been my favorite producer since I was a teen!
My world of samples started cuz of this vato sickass samples
We need that *Theodore Thizzle Chips* merch now RTC! 😂
coming soon...
Wavy. Thanks for sharing
Salute to the ALC! Been rocking since I was 19 when the 1st infantry dropped!
I grew up on hip hop in the early 80's so as it progressed I remember Diamond D, Pete Rock, Rza, Havoc, DJ Premier was running shit! When Alchemist came along I could tell he was mimicked DJ Premier for awhile then Mobb Deep adopted him and he adopted ingredients from Havoc, then his beats and sound changed. ALC is one of the best now! He has earned his rank..
Alchemist is the G.O.A.T
Hands down the best producer of all time !! Atleast to me that is...
He'll be the best when he learns how to do beat progression. Looping a sample is not enough to be the best, even though obviously he's Top 5. Gotta learn beat progression and transitions, or incorporate them. Kanye does it, Pharrell does it.
He needs to do a project with NaS and another project with Boldy
@@theconsciousobserver6829 Oh yea... ?? I could of sworn I typed: "Atleast to me that is" 🤔🤷🏾♂️.... And again, I'm not listening for all the shit that you "Observe" and pin pointing out the shit that is supposed to be the perfect solution for creating a beat in the constitution, Bill of rights and the 48 laws of making dope ass beats only for those who "Observe consciously" in their own life and listening time....🤷🏾♂️😂
And I am not at the very least mad or angry or upset or trippin in any way!! I promise... just want you to know that I'm not that obsessed with observing the shit I like. 💪🏾💯
@@theconsciousobserver6829 Oh may add that you were absolutely right about the projects with Nas and Boldy!!💯💪🏾👍🏾🔥..... But he also needs to do a project with ME as well... 💯🤷🏾♂️😉

*College was amazing, I just didn't know what the f I was going do with this ish*
Perfectly sums up my University/College experience haha.
This was so great, thanks!
Thanks for watching!
Truly a legend
No doubt one of the greatest producers to ever exist! The Alchemist is a alien!
*I wish I could’ve attended this event.*
Great interview! Thanks from Poland! 🇵🇱
Watch for 20 sec after timestamp 40:50. Just goes to show how appreciated someone who listens is. Al senses the guy on his left is listening because that guy isn't as vocal, which Al likes, so he turns to him when making a point he feels passionate about. I don't want to miss the larger point they're discussing, too. At 40:20, Al points out how smaller artists benefit from their position because you'll see they're hungry and have freedom. They're not tied down into the mindset that they have to do what's already worked for them. It's up.
Uncle Al! One of the greatest to ever do it…
dope interview, legend!! Was hoping somebody would mention The Red Carpet in favorite tracks
Al in a whole different season
Our friend AaaaaLlllll he's our paaaaalllllll....word up.

For real the algorithm is definitely a double edged sword!
KA is an underrated producer.
Great chat, appreciate this
Great interview!
In this fuckery times alc really a good exemple cool human being dope artist and humble! Big up man
Due to his work ethic and how he’s progressed over the last decade, I’d say ALC has seriously surpassed a lot of the old school legendary producers, he’s just flat out better than them and more talented
Oh yea
Great conversationalist
Alc... Been a fan since murda muzik. I never heard a wack beat from him...
ALC🔥
Dope idea for an event. They should have let this be more of an audience Q&A discussion.
that would just be hard to manage, but there is a lot of interaction not in the recording.
@@closedsessions Then at least let them submit questions beforehand. Interviewers tend to ask the same old boring questions in every interview.
@@subkulturebeats yo, chill the fuck out man. gotta ALWAYS complain, smfh. we got a super dope interaction and y’all STILL complaining 🤦🏿♂️

are you saying that in a - why did it take so long or he should be later in the series? I just don't understand the question.

Why the dude on the left keep cutting off the guest? And speaking over him? Respectfully, be quiet my guy.
Ahh that big rapper he said wasn’t on par with the Boldy’s… I feel like might be 2 Chainz
How can you have an Alchemist interview without mentioning MOBB DEEP?

The guy on the left is super annoying... I almost stopped watching because of Him.
