    Great pattern. I was a little confused on 2 together over the next 2. Thought it meant 2 together twice. But got it right the second time. Ty for sharing. I appreciate the straightforward delivery

    This video is great! First time trying to crochet and husband wants Christmas stockings for each of us 😅... This is the best tutorial so far. Ive tried a few others before this one and they either went too fast or it was too confusing so I had to restart over and over again because it came out so bad and that was just the beginning sections. Your video is the best... I'm half way done and I did it in one day!!!

    I am so excited to say that I just completed mine!! And am pretty new to crocheting. I literally only knew how to create a chain before I watched this lol.
    Instead of 15 rows, I added maybe another 8-10, so I could fold the top part down. Then after stitching it up, I found that turning it inside out made it look a lot cleaner.
    This was such an awesome tutorial. Turned out so good. Thanks so much :)

      I tried to make it wider but then following your pattern, my stitch count was off and especially at the very end when you’re making the top part I did something wrong. Could you explain if you go from 27 let’s say 34 chains.

    Wayyyy too fast in the explanations. I’m not a complete beginner, I’ve been crocheting for about two years now so still very new but not brand new…and you kept losing me completely with how fast you were explaining the techniques. 😩 back to my search for an EASY tutorial that takes their time to explain things more slowly for us beginners.

    • @siraspark
      @siraspark Рік тому +3

      I don't think it was too fast at all. As long as you give yourself time to pause between each step and as long as you know the vocabulary. It's quite easy to pull up another tab to research what each stitch used is but this is a very in depth video of exactly how to do the stitches. I would recommend you try reading and illustrating or even stitching a sample of a normal written pattern if you think this is confusing haha they just have directions row by row that say
      1. ch27
      2. Skip 3, 4th chain 24dc
      Etc.
      If you have auditory processing issues you can always put the video to .75x or .50x playback speed and turn on captions. Thats what I do when someone speaks a little too fast for my preference.
      On that note, great tutorial, the heel wasn't overly pointy and intricate, the finished look is a nice blend and I like that even though I knew what the stitches were if I hadn't you gave a clear explaination instead of just "do this" and me having to rewind 6 times to see where your hook went 😅
      Thank you for providing this video FOR FREE I appreciate your hard work and efforts! ❤

      Definitely not beginner friendly. She did move pretty fast, I’ve been crocheting for many years myself! Maya slow down the video. I’ve found 5 videos I’m checking out, to make my Christmas stockings.
