I live with someone who can make a fire in pouring down rain lile a pro, so seeing Lud struggle that much honestly hurt a little :')
I was like, "He's finally going to wrap the carrots, onions and potatoes in tin foil!" but got heavily disappointed and confused when he made the "stove"
Watching the campfire bit live was so stressful. It's much better on VOD when you know he's still alive

As someone who to this day uses a wood burning stove to heat his home, it was very hard/funny to watch lud struggle to make a fire. Very entertaining 10/10 would watch him struggle again

This video was an entire rollercoaster, and that ending was like the rollercoaster flew off its rails and rammed straight into a child’s birthday party: it was a tragedy, but the craziness of it all kept me from looking away
I now really wanna see shit camp being at an actual camp and watching all the streamers fail to setup tents or cook food and just driving to the nearest gas station for chips
QT and Maya are gonna be the only ones keeping them alive 😂

being exposed directly to fire for long enough can cause the metal to melt and seep into the food, its widely known as being very toxic when it enters your system this way, on a proper cooking fire, elevated above it like most people do its completely fine. Fire will heat it up to just below its combustion point used the way he did which while it wont combust it will melt over time

@@SirFlooberis I'm not sure if that was a real bear. A bear weighs over six hundred pounds and has claws up to four inches long. It could kill a grown man with one swipe of a paw. I'm pretty sure Ludwig is lying to his viewers.

Quick fact for the viewers in case you wanna try bear meat, Bear meat not cooked to correct temp = increased risk of trichinosis. May help the nurses at the ER when you are pooping your brains out. Kinda like undercooked pork :)
Same thing with cougars and WILD boars or pigs. The kill temp of trichinae is about 137 for an hour, but every single bit of meat has to reach that temperature to be safe to eat. Or you could always freeze the meat for a month, but some subspecies are immune to freezing, so it’s always much safer cooking to well done.
