am i the only one who loved the filming. it wasnt over the top zooming in and out. land the trick staright away zoom to the face. super up close all i can see is the cunts feet. i can actually see what old mates doing, i can take it all in, the filmings simple and easy to watch. i can suss flo's style. not get a headache because someones trying to be flashy behind the lens. loved it.
3:35 reminds me of a manual focused fakie backside boardslide on a local skatepark’s tabletop rail that I filmed in 2000 from between two trees in the distance. 👍🏼
Is this comment a joke? AMAZING Skateboarding.. But Filming, sorry that's the worst aspect of this video HANDS DOWN!!!. I'm a professional artist, photographer, and skated almost pro, (not trying to brag or anything, just giving some reference as to my knowledge.. plus I'm 37..) so I hope your joking... @seamo_one IG
I agree i like this filming. Seamo, you sound a bit arrogant .. nothing qualifies your opinion, we simply have good taste or we dont. we dont need 2 be qualified to judge the filming.
Daniel Simon - it's not arrogance, I just have the qualifications that absolutely make me a much better judge of this! There's a difference between being arrogant or egotistical and just flat out knowing that you are correct because you're confident in the skill sets that you have. There's a huge difference. And I don't know if you've noticed how many people have commented about how shitty the filming is you're the only person that said it's good or rather "great"… I grew up watching every skate video & The way skate filming evolved from the beginning of the late 80s until now… I've seen a thousand times more footage than you have I'd bet, I filmed 1000 times more then you have I'm guessing… Have you filmed?, done much photography? No I don't think all of the filming in this video is bad but a lot of it is captured from a shitty angle there's no fisheye lens is there's no close up work it's mostly standing at distance holding a camera.. I am not at the best angles! I'd love to hear about your background in this field, other then you're just a "person watching" with no kind of education/credit to give a proper analysis... If I'm wrong on that I'd love to have you show me otherwise! Thanks!
What width boards do a lot of these pros use nowadays? When I skated in the early 2000s - 2008 everyone used 7.5 - 7.75 for the most part. I always felt like 7.75 was my sweet spot. Now all the boards I see for sale are 8+ some of them are even 9 which just seems fucking ridiculous to me.
does anyone know that flo part where he's talking in french through the intro, there's subtitles, and he's talking about being hurt? been trying to find it again for ages have no idea what it's called
sebastiaan plasman dude thank you but I thought there was a part associated with it too, not just a few minutes of him talking about skateboarding. that's all I could find
Hah, Sorry dude. There isn't really a part associated with a speech that he did as far as I know. Flo is my favorite skater, just watched all his parts again two days ago. i don't recall there being a part in which he is talking about injury followed by footage. I could be wrong ofc. Bonne chance finding it!
sebastiaan plasman that french fred video was definately the one i was thinking of thanks for that. do you remember what kind of song he skated to in the gypsy tour video? that might be it
i don't know why everyone hates the filming so much. I for one actually enjoi looking at something besides a skatebord and feet 2 inches from the camera.
This video shows that yeah an expensive ass camera looks good but the filming itself is still pretty bad. Some of these angles were garbage. The skating was amazing wish the filming was too.
WG just because the angles were different than usual doesn't make them bad. nb is trying to stand out from everyone doing everything the exact same way every time. I agree some of the shots were botched but as a whole it's a breath of fresh air
Hence why this a rough cut, it's toss away footage. I'd rather see filming like this than stuff from that filmer for Blind that shoves the GoPro right into everything
I can't stand when the camera is 2" from the board. There's so much more to skateboarding than just the trick. The surroundings, the terrain, the style of the skateboarder, etc... Just my opinion. I love it.
Yeah great skating, but the lack of music means less drama, less fun, less attitude. This is just like a cynical display of technical skill and nothing else.
I really like these rough cuts!
The sound it made at teh spot where he was trying the back 5-0 FS flip out was so satisfying
The echoes ?!! yeah
Love these types of parts. no music just straight raw sick clips
The dad who came to see the fakie flip with the kids is dope !
Man, even if the angle is not always the best, the filming really emphasizes the movie sceneries in the background of each spot !
FATHER OF THE YEAR RIGHT THERE

I love the sound that gutter grind makes
THAT ECHOE IS DOPE!!! AGREED!
Videography is excellent! Love the style
Flo mirtain , my favorite skater
Love these videos!
This guy did like 3 bangers per spot
The steez is real! Nice work!
This is honestly some of the crispiest footage I've ever seen, the lack of music in the rough cuts really set them apart too
That backside flip through the trees was amazing .@3:37
3:35 reminds me of a manual focused fakie backside boardslide on a local skatepark’s tabletop rail that I filmed in 2000 from between two trees in the distance. 👍🏼
That was beautiful indeed
Camera work is incredible.

No I'm not joking. Keep in mind that it's a rough cut.
I'm pretty sure you'll change your mind when you see the final edit.
Daniel Simon - it's not arrogance, I just have the qualifications that absolutely make me a much better judge of this!

Rough cuts are way better than the actual part
Where's franky villani rough cut part!?
2 years late on the reply but yes Villani's rough cut is out. Hammers 🔨🔨🔨 from the New Balance squad. With Foy and now Tiago, damn.
Beautiful part 🤙🏾
Rough cut "new balance whole team"* the title is false
Michou le crabe real talk
audio sounds so good
6:50 onwards, that spot sounds so cool when your board hits the ledge or floor!
what i was thinking
And the disco flip makes a comeback
T'es chaud du zboob Flo, tu m'as donné la trique !
Pi Vix 😂 c est une machine!
The noises that drain hole creates at 06:25 onwards for a bit. I'm sure only skaters are familiar with that.
Damn I want Ducky Kovacs' part rough cut from the Am Scramble 2017 video.
Tremendo video
Who did the varial flip over the bin ? He looks like Damien Bulle
I love how he loved BS Flips

Popcorn Sutton between 8.125 and 8.5 i'd say
Filming is so good
this is like 8 guys not just Flo .. some insane skating in here .. perfect run at 16:10
release PJ LADD footage pleaseee
FUCK YEAH RIGHT??!! I WANNA SEE THAT NOW!!! THESE DUDES KILLED IT THOUGH.. WISH THE FILMING WOULD'VE BEEN BETTER...
yo is that Rodrigo tx?
NB makes cool shoes and I'm probably gonna cop a pair soon but idk why they're so damn expensive
they last a min n work good lowkey
LGBTQLMNOP FUCK YOU they last a long time
Lane Browning they're also expensive for no reason. everyone I know that has tried them said they wore out in a couple weeks. Not worth it
My emerica hsu's wore out in 4 months and only skated them once. 80€
@@coryander4918 exact same thing happened to me
does anyone know that flo part where he's talking in french through the intro, there's subtitles, and he's talking about being hurt? been trying to find it again for ages have no idea what it's called
'Le skate, c'est nul'. English version is called 'Skateboarding sucks'.
sebastiaan plasman dude thank you but I thought there was a part associated with it too, not just a few minutes of him talking about skateboarding. that's all I could find
Hah, Sorry dude. There isn't really a part associated with a speech that he did as far as I know. Oh duuude, you know what? Might be from the last Gypsy Tour video! is not on youtube as far as I know!
sebastiaan plasman that french fred video was definately the one i was thinking of thanks for that. do you remember what kind of song he skated to in the gypsy tour video? that might be it
Who was homeboy doing hardflip back tails?
PJ rough cut let's get it.
So many good tricks in here wtf
Was this a team video?
You know it's a make when pjs gives you that approval
Do not think if the original footage was lil bit shaky. Definitely a tough job on the editing process
i don't know why everyone hates the filming so much. I for one actually enjoi looking at something besides a skatebord and feet 2 inches from the camera.
MADNESS!!!
Is it in LA ?
yep
crazyfrenchskater ok merci ;)
Late flip out of crooked? Bravo!
lyon's finest
This video shows that yeah an expensive ass camera looks good but the filming itself is still pretty bad. Some of these angles were garbage. The skating was amazing wish the filming was too.
Totally agree, new Balance probably hired someone who doesn't film skateboarding regularly...
true the angles were pointless as fuck
WG just because the angles were different than usual doesn't make them bad. nb is trying to stand out from everyone doing everything the exact same way every time. I agree some of the shots were botched but as a whole it's a breath of fresh air
Couldn't agree less. Think it's refreshing to see a more artistic and composed form of film, rather than just chucking on a standard fish eye.
Hence why this a rough cut, it's toss away footage. I'd rather see filming like this than stuff from that filmer for Blind that shoves the GoPro right into everything
this guy has sauce
anyone watchin in 2020, is he still flo, or Pro Mirtains?
listening to mike joey - mathematics while watching this was satisfying
Skateboarding forever
Wanna hear a joke?
New Balance.
Nah I'm just kidding the video was lit.
If they're team wasn't stacked I'd agree but if Artos on board so am I
that stair gap spot though
heel flip sexchange isn't the last trick... why not? So much sicker than that sw big heel.
3:36 eye of the tiger!
Awesome shit awesome
Anda de mais
Wasn't it supposed to be Flo Mirtain Rcut? Because there is a lot of people on this video...
Imagine being a filmer and this dude says "yeah see that manual trick I just landed? imma do another one"
Zapp - Computer Love
🔥
Had to half speed 16:34
😍😍
👍🏿
damn, all those tricks he was redoing seemed fine to me...
Man, they need to raise those shutters a bit. Watching this has my eyes blurry
Yeah, Notification Buddies. And Damn this in video is Cool.
He has so many slams.
Guess he really likes backside flips
The best 20:23 of my life.

Braza
Does pj even have a rough cut 😂😂👊
FRENCH ! :D
Skate brooooo
He skates a little SLOW!
All hail cardiel
@6:46 least notable thing by far, but what buzzy acoustics at a spot. Never heard a board sound like that
flo did a great job, filmers not really...
but did you buy ice cream
00:43 "cash me outside"
Seriously?
repet demais
These rolling long lens shots are getting really boring.
More like filldirt blows thumbs down that bud its not cured right and odorless
Fucking filmer is like a mile away every shot. WHY?!
I can't stand when the camera is 2" from the board. There's so much more to skateboarding than just the trick. The surroundings, the terrain, the style of the skateboarder, etc... Just my opinion. I love it.
Agreed, should have been followed more or better angles w/ fish-eyes, etc.. wtf? These dudes are gnarly!
Sick🔥
Dick🔥😂
👎👎
👎 Your Life
Dilbert Doe ofc lmao
Dilbert Doe one day ima be the first 👎
Dilbert Doe you a scooter rider ? 😂
He returns once agaun
Yeah great skating, but the lack of music means less drama, less fun, less attitude. This is just like a cynical display of technical skill and nothing else.
Slowest ledge sk8ing ever, no pop outs, new age fragile sk8ing ? LAME!!
It's not all about "tony hawk pro skater" doing a thousand flip tricks in and out of everything. Style and substance go a long way.
