Good to see the dozer running again after all those decades lost deep in a swamp! Salute to all involved finding, recovering and restoring this legendary machine! I think there are the makings of a movie here with some interesting characters, throw in a ghost and a family mystery revealed!
So impressed with what they did. That engine runs good! Amazing that they could get the engine overhauled and running so well after so many decades under water. Love the patina they left on it.
I'm a John Deere guy. This IH is really effing cool!! Love the patina!! Looks like the D7s I'm familiar with when I was an Army Engineer! Yes, I saw the first "recovery" video. Wow! It purrs like a kitten! Great to see it running! When I saw it pulled from the swamp I honestly thought it was gonna be parted out! Fantastic work, you guys!! Special thanks to donators and volunteers!!
In Perham? Oh shoot, I knew this... That UD-24 (1025 cubic inches) engine runs great! You guys knocked it out of the park! Glad to have found this again. Have fun in Rollag!
That’s amazing from where it came from. Even though it was a simple machine at birth it’s awesome that it’s running & moving. It’s a beautiful piece of history. Thanks to everyone who touched& worked on this project. I’m glad you didn’t listen to the naysayers Thanks again to all😎
Sounds like it runs pretty good. Been wondering how the progress was going. I don't get to go over to your show because I'm working at Finn Creek that same weekend.
Looks good. can you tell me .. the serial number on the engine cover when recovered was 8B3762. You have changed it to match the body number of 3A575E. Was this because the original cover was probably a replacement and it should be the same as the body number? In your recovery film at 10.26 you can see the 8B3762 clearly.
Just curious why you didn’t load it with the blade to the rear up over the trailer axles? It would seem safer for both seeing the rear of the trailer and the blade would be up out of traffic as well as transferring it’s weight more to the rear
This is my all time favorite machine rescue! So impressive!!

Great to see this update video. Thanks for posting. I hope she gets a full restoration some day. I feel like the UA-cam community would love it.

Incredible job, fellows! Proud of my fellow Minnesotans for their determination in rescuing this piece of history! You betcha!
The low O2 enviornment of the swamp muck preserved it. what a good job fellas!!
Thats impressive ! Another piece of history saved, proof of start to end.
Thanks for the update. I had seen bits and pieces others had posted of it.

Did you guys replace the engine or rebuild it?

Excellent video it's nice to see it moving again and running I checked it out at Rollag show
I'm curious about how seized the engine and other components were because when it was pulled out of the bog, the paint seemed to be in good condition.
Seen this at rolag I’m at the age I probably wouldn’t get to see it anywhere else thanks for bringing it
I was a heavy equipment operator in the Seabees 78-83. We had TD 9s, TD 20s and a few TD 25s. But luckily they weren't cable machines.
I too was a Seabee, MNCB 133. Can Do Seabee.
Thanks fellas for your service!

Way to go Tim awesome brother
Does the heart good to see something like the revival of this old piece of iron.
Long time I've bin wanting to see an up date ,
my buddy had one of them I was in awe of it what a monster.
I see its a military dozer. Why was it in that swamp? How did it get there? Did you have to rebuild the motor?
Great job! Beautiful machine!👍🏽😊❤️🇺🇸
Where's the video for the time between these two?
Excellent job!

What year is this thing?
I can't believe you did't have to do 100% tear down. Steering clutches were ok ?
