Speedflying near Absam (Austria) - Full line

I scared one chamois on the way, can you notice when?
This interesting rocky line is located above small village of Absam near Innsbruck in Tirol, Austria. Hike is very easy maybe 2 hours if I remember correctly. Takeoff is steep, rather sketchy, landing possible on a huge field bit further but I just couldn't resist the empty football field haha. After the cliff I could definitely throw in one more barrel and still make it to the landing but since it was my first flight there, I rather played it safe. Some time in November last year.

I was all set to go to Kossen Austria for an extended stay from Glendale Arizona to see if I might want to relocate there, it was just before Covid-19. Needless to say I'm still in Glendale Arizona LOL. My favorite Wing is an Ozone Rapidos 8.5m... Thanks for posting, great stuff.

I'm blown away by your videos and how close you can get to the landscape features, treetops, etc.
When you were first learning, was it just a process of staying far above the trees/etc. at first? And then progressively getting closer to the ground over time on later runs?

Thank you! Yes exactly, from beginning you try to fly away from everything to stay safe but as you get more confident you start going closer and closer 😅

How did you get into speed flying

I took paragliding lessons and then slowly started flying smaller wings 👍
