Held each year on the River Nore in Kilkenny, Ireland. Hosting the best fly fishermen in the country to battle it out over two days to become the champions of Thomastown.
In association with Syndicate Fly Rods and Piscari Fly.

Excellent quality video, Thomastown anglers is a very good club with some of the most beautiful scenery in the country, I really enjoyed it and hats off to the camera work and editing 👍

Easily said, it's the change of time. But so easy ofcourse it isn't.
I originally come from the Netherlands, now live for almost 30 years in the Čech Republic.
And it's here where I started flyfishing. Now the last 10 years I also picked up Čech Nymphing.
It is by far NOT my favorite kind of flyfishing. But, it's just another METHOD. I think you have to be open for every change. If you like it or not, like I said, you have to be open to it. Nobody forces you to use the Čech Nymphing method.
I also like most the "classical" way of fishing, nymphing and dry fly, but in a competition these methods can't keep up with Čech Nymphing.

Perdigon nymph chuckers, sad to see the traditional skill gone from fly fishing comps, should be banned.
