World Fly Fishing Championship 2023, Slovakia

The international sport flyfishing federation FIPS Mouche has chosen again Slovakia throghout Slovenský zväz športového rybolovu and Slovenský rybársky zväz, in the breathtaking landscape of the High and Low Tatras, to host the 42nd World Fly Fishing Championship.
This region provides a richness of the fish fauna and offers numerous fishing spots (many of them catch and release) which are very popular especially with fly fishing lovers. In particular, the competition venues for the 2023 competitions will be our by far best quality rivers Váh, Orava, Hron as well water dam Palcmanská Maša (Dedinky).
