The old "stock" negative played a good backup plan of Psylocke + Sera into a bunch of strong ongoing cards like Blue Marvel and Iron Man. The new style of Negative decks are way more all-in these days.

I made a negative on reveal deck with 2 backup plans. Either Zola panther or Wong Odin tiger. When I hit Negative, I get to utilize Ironman Mystique. This deck was really consistent for me. Sometimes it feels like Negative is the backup plan. But the last turns are always explosive. It's very fun.

Always nice to see more negative decks. I listened at the end if you would mention a replacement for havoc but didnt hear anything. Is he irreplaceable in this deck? He is the only card I'm missing @JeffHoogland

It would work, but then it probably wouldn’t be a negative deck anymore after you buff your cards to 4 power.
