I wish they would find better outfits for the women to wear. Why can't they dress modestly. I feel embarrassed for those young girls waking around showing almost everything that should be private.😢😢😢😢😢😢
It is because they can't have any extra weight as they will not be able to move properly for the skills they need to perform. The woman's movements like toe foot position and leg placement is a big deal with scoring. Plus any constrictive clothing can get caught on any apparatus or can catch at the foot or knee or ankle.
Maybe keep your shit opinions on “modesty” to yourself. People can show as much skin as they like, it doesn’t make them bad people or immoral. Especially not Olympic athletes participating in their sport. Maybe go cry on the men’s swimming posts instead, they have way less coverage. Aside from that, the gymnasts are able to wear long uniforms if they choose. There is a growing movement to allow them to wear shorts over the leos IF THEY CHOOSE. There’s also a growing movement to allow the men to compete shirtless. It’s about the athletes comfort. It’s about the comfort of anyone in what they decide to wear or not wear on their own bodies. It’s not about your comfort.
